Platform has bought its first development in Scotland and revealed plans to expand an existing scheme in Exeter.
It has bought a two-acre site in Glasgow’s Central Quay redevelopment from Harbert Management Corporation and XLB Property. The scheme, designed by Keppie Design, has planning for 400 homes as part of a master plan that includes 300,000 sq ft of office space and a 150-bedroom hotel.
It is Platform ’s second new-build project after a 350-home scheme in Sheffield.
The company is also expanding its Exeter scheme, which is part of its joint venture with Invesco Real Estate. Works have started on converting neighbouring Linacre House to include a gym, concierge, lounge and 28 flats.
GVA advised Platform on the Glasgow deal.
