Plans to sell 14-25 Mount Street in Mayfair, the location of celebrity restaurant Scott’s, may be withdrawn following a family dispute.
The lease was offered for sale earlier this year through Knight Frank, after the owners – Moussa Salem and Freddy Salem – received a bid of £90m. The brothers were thought to be hoping for a bid of around £110m.
Rent from the restaurant, plus retail space housing Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren among others, totals an annual £2m.
