Developer Sennybridge has lodged plans for a £200m mixed-use development in the seaside town of Hayle in Cornwall.
Detailed proposals for North Hayle Harbour comprise 377 homes, a hotel, a cinema and art gallery, and a water sports centre, designed by architects FCBStudios.
The application for the second phase of development at Hayle Harbour includes 25,000 sq ft of commercial space, with industrial and fish storage premises, a 47,000 sq ft hotel and 25,000 sq ft of community and cultural space, sports and leisure facilities and public open space.
It follows development of phase one, which consisted of 143 homes plus retail, community and leisure space.
Simon Wright, chief executive of Sennybridge, said: “At the heart of these proposals is a commitment to quality of design and support for local marine industries and water users, promoting a busy and successful working harbour and creating a bustling and lively waterside quarter which is open to the community and visitors year-round.”
