Bruntwood has submitted plans for its £31m Ev0 Building, which the firm claims will be the UK’s lowest carbon new build workspace.
The move follows positive feedback secured during the public consultation period.
The 82,000 sq ft office will be situated at Didsbury Technology Park, in South Manchester. Bruntwood Works will design, develop and deliver the scheme, with construction scheduled to begin in summer 2023 and completion expected in autumn 2024.
Ciara Keeling, chief executive at Bruntwood Works, said: “Ev0 is the culmination of all our work to date, taking everything we have learned to create the UK’s lowest carbon new build. As part of this, we will continue to be fully transparent about presenting data and assessments to ensure that we stay true to our commitments and to allow Ev0 to become a blueprint for net zero construction in the industry.”
JLL and CBRE will act as agents for the building.
