Places for London appoints Savills as real estate adviser

Places for London, Transport for London’s real estate company, has appointed Savills as its property advisory partner, working on a portfolio on which 20,000 homes could be delivered.

The company said the agency will be tasked with helping to “get more done, more quickly”, including advising on strategy-related activity at portfolio, sector, and property levels; guiding real estate decision making; and bringing new deals and development.

Places for London hopes to start on site on all identified housing projects by 2031, as well as workspaces and retail projects.

Graeme Craig, chief executive of Places for London, said: “With our shared ambition and values, we are looking forward to working with Savills to bring forward urgently-needed homes, jobs, and social value across the capital.”
