PizzaExpress agrees Cambridge deal for new concept restaurant

Pizza-Express-sign-generic-THUMB.jpegBCSC 2015: PizzaExpress owner Hony Capital has signed a deal Cambridge for the first site of its new chicken concept restaurant, Reys.

It has agreed a deal with the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre, Cambridge, owners Universities Superannuation Scheme for a 3,000 sq ft restaurant on a 20-year lease.

The new restaurant will serve serving rotisserie chicken and a choice of signature BBQ sauces in its first UK site.

This new deal follows other recent lettings to Milanese cosmetics brand, KIKO, and retro American restaurant chain, Ed’s Easy Diner.

There is increased appetite in the regions for leisure operators, and more are heading to the regions to open their debuts, according to new data by BCSC and the Local Data Company.
