Savills has appointed associate director Sarah Brayshaw (pictured, right) as its first climate risk and resilience consultant, based in London. She joins from Deloitte and has more than seven years of expertise in the sustainability sector.
Nowsher Alam (pictured, left) has been appointed associate director at Strettons, with a focus on acquisitions and disposals across east and north London.
Knight Frank has appointed Anthony Duggan to the newly created role of chair of Europe, as the business seeks to strengthen its growth strategy and structure across the continent. He was previously head of strategy at the agency. In addition, Kate Maffey has joined the Cardiff office as a graduate surveyor in the valuations team.
Jessica Gallop has been appointed as Unite Students’ group people director.
Principle Estate Management has recruited Polly Dyer as property director from HML Group and Andrew Davis as associate director from Centrick.
Ascend Properties has appointed Paul Borrmann as managing director to lead the expansion of its BTR operator capabilities.
Gerard Barry has joined Aitchison Raffety’s office in St Albans as head of transactional and capital markets.
KLM Real Estate has promoted Jack Hesketh to partner. He joined the business’s retail agency division in 2016.
Avison Young has appointed Gavin Boruchowitz as a director in the UK place advisory team and Brian Kelly as principal and head of planning for Ireland.
Knight Frank Investment Management has hired Kerri Hunter as a partner. She was previously abrdn’s UKCM REIT manager.
Avant Homes Central has appointed Matt Barker from Persimmon Homes as director to lead its multi-tenure growth strategy.
Eddisons has appointed chartered surveyor Nick Holtby to head its agency team across its south coast offices. He was most recently a senior surveyor at Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell.
Lambert Smith Hampton has recruited Richard Shepherd from Nexus Planning as a director in its planning, regeneration and infrastructure team. In addition to advising local authorities on future development requirements and strategies for regenerating town centres, he also leads on the delivery of retail and town centre studies.
Montagu Evans has appointed Mathilde Francois-Downey as sustainability manager. She joins from Evora Global, where she advised global real estate investment clients on the development and implementation of ESG programmes.
Phil Hooper has been named as the new chief executive of Close Brothers’ Property Finance division, succeeding Frank Pennal, who served as CEO for nearly two decades. Hooper joins from Pluto Finance, where he was head of lending.
Flora McDougall has joined Firethorn Trust’s Living team as a senior associate. She was previously an associate director at CBRE and will be responsible for supporting opportunities for growth in the PBSA and BTR markets.
