People moves: CBRE promotes four to associate director

Appointments and promotions


CBRE has promoted Veenam Gohil (pictured, left), Olivia Newport, Tom Nock and Annie Stanford to associate directors in its Birmingham office.

Boreal IM has appointed Johana Ruiz (pictured, right) as vice-president to lead its development and asset management. She previously worked at Mileway, Blackstone’s logistics platform, where she oversaw the development and project management of its portfolio in France.

Investment management firm Federated Hermes has appointed Mark Russell as head of fund management. He will be responsible for driving strategy and performance of the firm’s real estate business and investments. Prior to this, he worked for Orchard Street IM.

Woodbourne Group has grown its life sciences team with the appointment of Tes Adamou as head of life sciences, supported by Ian Lynch, who will serve as construction director and David Lupson as non-executive.

Mark Gibney has been appointed as a partner at Montagu Evans. He previously worked as head of planning at Avison Young in London and has more than 30 years of experience in planning for housing and regeneration projects.

Helical has appointed Robert Fowlds as a non-executive director. He was previously head of real estate investment banking at JP Morgan. Amanda Aldridge, a partner at KPMG for 20 years, will also join the board in April.

PPHE Hotel Group has promoted Greg Hegarty to co-chief executive. Hegarty has been with the hotel developer and investor for 18 years and was made COO of the business in 2019 and deputy CEO in 2020.

Ashley Dollin has joined Dandara Living as mobilisation manager to lead the launch of Granary Quay in Glasgow, scheduled for May 2024, and to oversee the delivery of 16 further sites nationwide.

Stuart Ormisher has joined North of England-focused residential developer One Heritage Group as CFO from Property Alliance Group.

Rebecca Harper has been promoted to head of investment for commercial at Rapleys. Harper has advised on more than £300m of deals in property acquisition and disposal, with a focus on the automotive, out-of-town retail and leisure sectors.

Leumi UK has hired Oliver Stenning as a relationship director in its property finance team. He was previously head of acquisitions at IMMO Capital and a vice-president in Morgan Stanley’s commercial real estate team.

BNP Paribas Real Estate has hired Aman Panesar from Cushman & Wakefield as a director in its central London investment team and Fran Hardcastle-Brown from Workman as senior director of its national portfolio team in property management.

Derrick Wade Waters has appointed Phil Smith, formerly of JLL, as an associate in the estate management team and Rose Lewis, formerly of Apam, as an associate in the property management team.

MJ Gleeson has appointed Samantha Knight as human resources director. She has worked as HR director at Robertson Facilities Management and Morgan Sindall Property Services.

Manchester-based regeneration specialist Genr8 Developments has promoted Alan Hall to director of projects, Leonie Edwards to finance director, and Matt Brennan to senior project manager.

Carden Group has hired Andrew Taylor as planning manager. He previously worked for Gladman.

Camilla Heywood has been appointed as partner and head of sales at Knight Frank’s Dulwich office. She replaces Christopher Burton, who has moved to lead the sales team at the Wimbledon office.

Clemency Wall and Rebecca Johnston have joined Principle Estate Management as property manager and property assistant respectively.

Miranda Jones has been appointed as a senior surveyor in the rural team at Bruton Knowles. She specialises in residential and agricultural valuations.

Charles Lucas has been appointed as Centrick’s group business development director. He has worked on some of the UK’s largest new-build developments and managed schemes with high-profile clients, including Argent, Bellway and Urban Splash.

Stockford Anderson has appointed James Welch, an expert in leisure and retail property investment, to its investment team in its London office.

Owen Ellender has been appointed as senior development manager for the UK and Ireland to support the expansion of Premier Inn hotels. He returns to Whitbread after serving as head of property development at Greene King.

Kirsten Keegan has been appointed as Sovereign Network Group’s group general counsel. She will lead its legal affairs, regulatory compliance and risk management. Keegan previously worked at JP Morgan.

Madison International Realty has hired Jenna Barry as portfolio and asset manager for its European and UK property portfolio based in London. She joins from Arax Properties.
