Colliers International has appointed Sophie Attwood (pictured left) as head of its Liverpool office. She joined the firm in 2016 as part of its national rating division, and will head the Liverpool team from its Exchange Flags offices in the city’s business district.

Sadie O’Toole (pictured second from left) has joined the Exchange Quay office scheme in Salford Quays as assistant building manager, working in managing agent CBRE’s project management FM team.

Sam Skinner (pictured second from right) has joined Gerald Eve as a partner in the Birmingham office. Skinner joins from Fisher German and will advise on strategic development issues, which focus on greenfield-led schemes for both residential and employment uses, as well as planning policy and financial viability.

CBRE in Manchester has appointed Edward Warren (pictured right) as director in its project management consultancy team. He joins from Gardiner and Theobold after six and a half years.

Legal business DWF has appointed Kevin McGlone as a partner in its real estate team in Scotland. He joins from Brodies, where he spent 14 years as a partner and specialises in buying, selling and leasing of trading businesses in the hotel, hospitality and healthcare sectors.

CALA Homes has appointed James Turner as its area land director. He will spearhead the firm’s drive to acquire more sites across the East Midlands, with a strategic focus on the M1 corridor between Milton Keynes and Nottinghamshire. Turner previously worked for Avant Homes.

The Howard de Walden Estate has appointed Richard North as head of leasing for its office, medical and educational portfolios. He formerly worked with Gerald Eve’s office agency team and corporate real estate department.

Alex Herbert has joined LDA Design as head of planning. He will help grow the practice’s planning offering in infrastructure, energy, major mixed-use development and regeneration. He previously worked at Tidal Lagoon Power.

David Brewin has been appointed to the governance board at Fisher German. He joins managing partner Andrew Bridge, senior partner Charles Meynell and chairman Harry Cotterell.

Harris Lamb has promoted Chris Jones to director within residential land. Sam Silcocks has been made director in the planning consultancy, and Tina Cannon has been promoted to senior residential property manager.

Law firm HFW has elected partner Carolyn Chudleigh as head of its construction practice and as a member of the firm’s global management board. Chudleigh is the first woman to lead HFW’s construction practice.

Will Watson has joined The Buying Solution, the buying arm of Knight Frank, as partner and head of the London team.

JLL has appointed Nick Walters as lettings manager in its Chelsea residential agency office. He will focus on growing JLL’s market share and its private and estate clients.

Rajeev Joshi has joined law firm Boodle Hatfield as partner in its real estate team from K&L Gates.

Spicerhaart has appointed Tracy Gee as business development manager for the Kent and Sussex region.

Zoopla’s new homes management team has appointed Alex Rose as director. Ian Hutson has been promoted to head of sales.

Hertfordshire-based housing association West Herts Homes has relocated to new offices in Hemel Hempstead. Paul Eastwood will lead the new office as chief executive.

Turley has appointed Antony Pollard as head of economics following six years as a director at the firm. In his new role, Pollard will lead the national economics service, which promotes development and optimises the economic, social value and health benefits of a project.

Intu has appointed Robert Allen as chief financial officer. Allen served as group chief financial officer of Crest Nicholson until 2018.

Carter Jonas’ valuation team in London has recruited affordable housing expert Barry Rea as a partner. Michael Henretty and Lucy-Anne Johnson have joined as associate and graduate surveyor, respectively.

Palm Capital, the pan-European real estate private equity specialist, has appointed Gabriel Rudert as a director to head its European asset management activities. He joins from GreenOak, where he was principal and focused on asset management across Europe.

Rebecca Jenkins has joined Sussex Surveyors’ building surveying department at its head office in Hove.

Paragon’s London office has made the following director promotions: Andrew Hezelgrave in building surveying; Ben Hulland in cost management; Nick Hodds in neighbourly matters; and Dan Fitch in environmental. In the Esher office, Tom Wylie has been promoted to director in cost management, and Simon Hobson to associate director in project management. Jess Dowsing and Jack Nowicki have been promoted to director and associate director respectively in the Bristol cost management team. In Manchester, Simon Long has been appointed director in building surveying.
