Law firm Irwin Mitchell has promoted Brian Dowling in the Southampton development team to partner in real estate. Nicola Gooch (pictured left) in the Gatwick office has been promoted to partner in the planning team.

CBRE has appointed Jon Nix (pictured second from left) to the new position of head of technology and transformation in its UK property management business. In his new role Nix will develop strategies to better implement technology in service delivery.

Robin Howland (pictured second from right) has been appointed as director and head of commercial property management in SHW’s Brighton office. He joins from Workman, where he was a partner and worked with clients BlackRock, Columbia Threadneedle and Ellandi.

Avison Young’s property management business has recruited Nick Coombs (pictured right) as senior director to lead the West End management team. Coombs joins from CBRE.

Retail practice MMX Retail has promoted Olivia O’Neill to the role of associate partner. She joined the firm in 2015 and has supported landlord leasing instructions for thecentre:MK, the Crowngate Shopping Centre in Worcester, and the Orchard Centre in Didcot.

Cushman & Wakefield has recruited logistics and retail specialist Tim Crighton from Kingfisher. Crighton will provide specialist logistics and retail supply chain advice to clients across EMEA.

Perveen Kaur Dhami has joined Emms Gilmore Liberson as associate director in its property litigation division.

Jackson-Stops has opened a new Mid Sussex office. It will be headed by partners Toby Whittome and Guy Kelsey.

Ian Ball has been promoted to chief operating officer at Harworth and will drive operational delivery and future growth opportunities.

SANNE has appointed Michael Riley as director of mergers and acquisitions across the global business, based in the firm’s London office.

Colliers International has made the following director promotions: Rob Worton, project and building consultancy in London; Claire Camplisson, hospitality asset manager in London; Emily Hutton, London offices; Kyle Joss, city fringe in London; Helen O’Reilly, marketing and communications in London; Andrew Pratt, hotels valuation in Glasgow; Chris Pritchard-Wilkes, EMEA corporate solutions in London; and Glenn Wright, project and building consultancy in London.

Michał Matera has been appointed as partner at Allen & Overy real estate group in Poland.

London new homes specialist Matt Cobb has joined Sq. One Real Estate as a partner. Cobb brings 14 years’ experience of working on developments across London to the firm, which was launched last year and targets opportunities created by mixed-use and residential development.

Savills Australia has appointed Jordan Lee from Colliers International and Andy Hu from Knight Frank to lead its new Asia markets team.

Redington has appointed Sebastian Schulze, Nick Samuels, Lee Georgs and Carolyn Schuster-Woldan as managing directors.

Planning and development consultancy Lichfield’s has promoted Caroline Musker in Manchester and Chris Darley in Leeds to senior directors.

Cushman & Wakefield has made the following international partner promotions: Argie Taylor in EMEA capital markets; James Campbell in London markets; Martin Robb in valuation and advisory; Robert Seabrook in EMEA capital markets; Shaun Paterson in London markets; and Alastair Lindsay in global occupier services.

JLL has appointed Robin Pugh as head of flex innovation, focusing on investor and landlord clients across EMEA. Pugh has more than 20 years’ experience in real estate and joins from flexible office space provider Orega.

Delva Patman Redler has promoted Shirley Waldron and Suzanne Leo to partners.

Gurdeep Virdi has joined the Solent offices of Vail Williams as an associate in the property asset management team. He previously worked for Vine Property Management in Southampton.

Fieldfisher’s Manchester office has hired partner Kirsty Tinsley-Fenney to its real estate team. She joins from FDR Law.

Malcolm Hollis has appointed Lee Parker as an associate in Manchester. Ameer Faris joins the Birmingham office as an assistant project manager. Phil Jackson and Nicholas Livingstone join as building surveyors in Bristol and Leeds. In Dublin, David Nagy has been appointed as a surveyor in the measured surveys team. Harry Welch joins as an engineer in the mechanical and electrical engineering team in London, and Matthew Dove has been recruited as a building surveyor in Edinburgh.

Gent Visick has appointed David Travis as a director. He joins from Harworth Group.

Bulleys has appointed chartered surveyor Paul Causer to its management department. He brings more than 35 years of experience to the role and previously worked with LSH, King Sturge (JLL), Bruton Knowles, CBRE and Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

David Bullimore has joined Lambert Smith Hampton’s Birmingham office as an associate director in the rating team from Johnson Fellows. Bullimore will support the firm’s retail, office and industrial occupiers and landlord clients.
