Savills Chelmsford has appointed Alex Leigh (pictured left) to lead its residential development sales team. He joins as a director and will advise developers and help prospective buyers through the sales process. He previously worked for Foxtons for 13 years.
Colliers International’s South East offices team has appointed Andy Tucker (pictured second from left) as an associate director from BNP Paribas Real Estate. He has a wealth of experience in the South East office market and has previously advised clients including Hermes, Aberdeen Standard and Columbia Threadneedle. At Colliers he will advise both occupier and landlord clients across the South East.
Gregor Porteous (pictured second from right) has joined CBRE’s operational real estate Scotland team as a surveyor in the Glasgow office. He joins from J&E Shepherd where he was a commercial surveyor in the valuation team. He is a RICS registered valuer.
Mary Beeton (pictured right) has been promoted to head of sales at Hamptons International. She has worked for the company for 17 years and will oversee more than 90 sales offices across the Hamptons network.
Wiltshire-based DMI Finance has appointed commercial finance broker Bradley Weston. He has previously worked for Evolve Financial Solutions.
Agnese Erina has joined the property management team at Aston Rose.
Iain Laing has been appointed chief risk officer at Heylo Housing, a provider of shared-ownership homes. He previously worked for TSB and has more than 20 years’ experience as a risk officer.
Turley has appointed David Blackadder-Weinstein as director for strategic communications in its Birmingham office. He joins from Midlands Connect where he was head of external affairs and led the promotion of major public sector schemes across the Midlands, including HS2 and the Midlands Rail Hub.
Ingleton Wood has appointed Neil Henderson as director of building surveying at its Cambridge office. He has worked in the construction industry for 35 years, including 24 years as a chartered building surveyor, and has managed projects ranging from new builds to refurbishments, conservation work and corporate fit-outs.
Piers Nickalls will join Argent in April as office leasing lead for Brent Cross South. He joins from Savills where he was director. In his new position he will manage the leasing of 3m sq ft of commercial space, part of a new town centre for north London.
Innes England has recruited Aman Verma as a graduate surveyor in its team in Leicester. He will work alongside director and head of agency Peter Doleman. Associate director Simon Dare has been promoted to director and surveyor Ross Whiting to associate director in the Nottingham office.
Catalyst Housing has recruited Richard Smith from Taylor Wimpey as managing director for new homes London and Andrew Almond has been named managing director for new homes counties.
Planner Alan Hughes has rejoined planning and development consultancy Lichfields as an associate director. He joins the London team and will focus on regeneration projects, mixed-use, residential and commercial planning work in the capital and South East.
CoreTech Solutions has appointed Michael Green as non-executive director. He has 40 years’ experience in leadership roles in the retail and property sectors.
Newcastle-based Adderstone Group has appointed Michael Foster-Smith as managing director to oversee the management of its projects division. He joins from US real estate investment business Tishman Speyer where he was senior development manager.
LDG has promoted Cary Dennington and Harrison Eagles to associate partners in the commercial team. Dennington joined LDG in 2013 and Eagles in 2015.
Hill Group has appointed regional director Tom Hill to the board of directors. Naisha Polaine and Ann Santry CBE have been appointed as non-executive directors.
Greenslade Taylor Hunt has acquired chartered surveyors and commercial agent RMW Knight, strengthening GTH’s presence in the West Country.
TCS has hired Charles Newman and David Travis as associate directors, and Chris Collins has been promoted to associate director.
