West Country housebuilder Devonshire Homes has appointed Lynsey Carroll (pictured left) as sales manager. She joins from Linden Homes and has worked in the housing and construction industry for more than six years.
Matt Booker (pictured second from left) has joined Parkinson Real Estate as a senior surveyor in the lease advisory team to support its North West operations. He previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield and GVA.
Donna Fryer (pictured second from right) has joined Dacre, Son & Hartley as lettings manager from Hopkinsons. She will be based in the Ripon office.
Jacob Bonehill (pictured right) has joined RPS as a principal planner. He joins from West Midlands Combined Authority, where he was strategic delivery adviser. He has previously held senior positions at Birmingham City Council, where he developed planning policy for several sectors, including employment land and education.
Catalyst Capital has appointed Richard Peskin as a consultant. He was previously chairman of Great Portland Estates until his retirement in 2009 and was also chairman of Internos Global Investors for nine years.
Vail Williams has promoted Jane Chamberlin and Philip Knight in Reading, Ben Christian in Southampton and Emily Knowles in Birmingham to associates. Sam Hill in London, Joe Walker in Southampton and Suzanne Holloway in Crawley have been promoted to partners. Elliot McNish has been promoted to surveyor in the Woking office. Carole Taylor in Birmingham and Richard Dawtrey in London have been made equity partners.
Carter Jonas has promoted the following to group partners: Nick Marshall, Birmingham; Jess McSweeney, London; Christopher Rhodes, Oxford; and Chris Turner, Winchester.
Sarah Martin will join OLIM Property on 8 July from JLL, where she has worked for 15 years.
Jonathan Smart has joined Apex Airspace as head of new business from Berkeley Homes, and Andrew Powell has joined as finance director from Morgan Sindall Investments.
Topland Group has recruited Marcus Franklin as an investment manager in its acquisitions team. He previously worked for CLS Holdings and specialises in land acquisition, development appraisals and asset management.
Midlands-based developer Chase Commercial has appointed Justin Parker as a director. He was formerly managing director at Mucklow Group for 15 years.
Rich Thomas has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a partner in the London residential team from BNP Paribas Real Estate. He will work with institutions and corporate clients.
Vail Williams has appointed surveyor Claudia Harley to its acquisitions and disposals team. She joins from Lewis & Co, where she worked for two years as a graduate surveyor. In her new role, Harley will work alongside partners Matt Clarke and Steve New, advising occupiers, landlords, developers and investors on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property.
Cadogan has appointed Sanjay Patel as finance director. He previously held senior roles at Strutt & Parker and John Lewis.
York-based property and development company S Harrison has appointed Alex Musgrave as development delivery manager working across the company’s portfolio, which includes residential, hotel, student accommodation and retail projects across Yorkshire and in Edinburgh.
River and Mercantile Group has appointed James Barham as chief executive, effective from 1 July. Barham is currently deputy chief executive and will take over from Mike Faulkner, who will remain on the board as an executive director and becomes head of macro strategies and innovation.
John Truslove has recruited Isabelle Ellis as a graduate surveyor in its Redditch office, where she completed three work experience placements during her studies.
Chris Turnbull has joined the building division of Avison Young in its Newcastle office from Faithful & Gould. He has a wealth of project management and employer agent experience within the hospitality, education and residential sectors and will work on all aspects of project management on development projects in the North East.
Multilet industrial firm Stenprop has promoted Will Lutton to head of investment, where he will lead on all UK acquisitions and disposals.
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has appointed Liam Loudon as an associate in the Ayrshire commercial department. He joins from Graham + Sibbald and has experience in working with landlords, real estate appraisal, lease administration, valuation and property management.
Turley has appointed Antony Pollard as head of economics following six years as a director. He will lead the firm’s national economics service to promote development and optimise the economic, social value and health benefits of a project.
Charlotte Tucker has joined Cushman & Wakefield in Newcastle as a planner. She will work with the planning team to expand its presence across the North East and will be responsible for planning appeals, applications and public consultations.
Carter Jonas planners Camilla Burgess and Robert Preston have passed their APC examinations. They are now both chartered town planners and members of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
