Asif Din (pictured left) has joined the London studio of Perkins+Will as sustainability director. He will lead strategic initiatives for sustainable building in urban design, architecture, hospitality, and workplace design.
BNP Paribas Real Estate has hired Jeff Field (pictured second from left) to its team as head of London planning. He was previously planning chairman at JLL.
Ryden has recruited Ian Spencer (pictured second from right) to lead its project and building consultancy team in its Manchester office. He joins from Trident Building Consultancy.
RPS has promoted Cameron Austin-Fell (pictured right) to director in its Birmingham-based planning team. He joined the firm in 2014.
DM Hall has promoted Mike McIntyre to director and Andrew Shaw, Juliet Robertson and Duncan Fraser to associates. Ronnie Colman has been appointed as a consultant in the property services division.
Sue Morgan has been named director of architecture and the built environment at the Design Council. Morgan is the founder and director of Around the Block and was the part-time CEO of the Wandle Valley Regional Park Trust.
Mount Anvil has appointed Matt Walton as development director.
SEGRO has appointed Mary Barnard as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 March.
Cording Real Estate Group has appointed Alfred Garbe as head of business in Germany.
Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Richard Murphy as head of its Cardiff office.
Delva Patman Redler has appointed Izabela Muskalska as senior analyst surveyor in the rights of light team. She previously worked at GIA.
Leeds-based Castlehouse construction has appointed Chris Drake as contracts manager.
M7 Real Estate has appointed Tony Edgley as non-executive chairman. Edgley succeeds Hugh Ellingham, who has taken up the role of CEO of the newly formed M7 Developments.
European property investment and asset management firm Avignon Capital has appointed Jacco van Pelt as asset manager, based in the Netherlands.
JLL has appointed Gary Hosie as a director and project management lead for the hotel sector. Hosie has 30 years’ experience in the commercial, hotel and hospitality industries and has managed large-scale development, design and capital construction projects.
Logicor has recruited Sam Towers as UK technical manager. Towers joins from Savills.
JLL in Manchester has hired Philip Corrigan as an associate director in its valuation advisory team from Knight Frank. Jonathon Powers joins the lease advisory team as an associate director from GVA.
Property agent Audrey Dobson has joined Reith Lambert as a director in office agency. She joins from CBRE. Jonathan McConnell has been appointed as a building consultancy director. Ross Donaldson has been promoted to director in property management and David Thorburn to senior surveyor in capital markets.
Keyland Developments, the property trading arm of Kelda Group, has appointed Catherine Godfrey as a development manager. She joins from Yorkshire Water, where she was lead surveyor.
Stephen George+Partners has promoted Nicola Pettman, Arshad Khan and Karen Coekin to associates.
Real Estate Management has appointed Derek Rossenrode as general manager of Shard Quarter. He joins from Savills Management Resources, where he was property and retail director for the mixed-use scheme at King’s Cross.
Alan Pearce has joined LSH’s South West team as director of planning and development. Pearce joins from Alder King and will provide advice to national, regional and local clients.
Cheffins has hired Max Fahie as residential development surveyor. He joins from Long Harbour, where he specialised in build-to-rent and PRS acquisitions across the UK.
Bobin Kan has joined Acorn Property Group as a business analyst from Skanska.
Justin Millett has been appointed as lead director at JLL in Cardiff. He will continue as head of the firm’s capital markets in Wales.
Montagu Evans has made Roger Bowdler, former Historic England director of listing, a partner within its planning team. Bowdler joins after 29 years at English Heritage, subsequently Historic England.
Gensler has appointed Valeria Segovia as principal and design director. Lara Marrero has been named principal, strategy director and global retail practice leader. Athely Guedes has been promoted to principal.
Europa Capital has appointed Ian Currie to its private capital markets team as a director. The role will also support the management and growth of Europa Capital’s EMEA-based client relationships across global real estate equity and real estate debt funds.
