Overbury has appointed Ben Burton (pictured, left) to the role of business development manager in the Birmingham office. He will be responsible for the regional growth of the business. Burton is a regional committee member of the British Council for Offices and a non-executive board member at Solihull Community Housing.
Redrow has appointed Emma Morris (pictured, second from left) to head up its nationwide customer services team, as customer and quality director. She joined the firm in 2015 as head of customer service for south Wales.
Darwin Group has appointed Alan Davidson (pictured, second from right) as healthcare director. He has more than 30 years’ experience in estates and facilities management, in both the NHS and the private sector. Davidson will be responsible for overseeing and increasing the group’s turnover in the public and private healthcare market. He was previously director of estates and facilities management at the NHS.
Perseus Land & Developments has appointed Tom Duck (pictured, right) as construction director. He is a chartered project manager and has 20 years’ construction project management experience. Duck joins from Fed3 Projects.
Aitchison Raffety has promoted Georgina Silk to senior surveyor in its healthcare division in St Albans, Hertfordshire. She joined the firm two years ago.
Thrive Homes has appointed Karen Forbes-Jackson as corporate services director and Mark Farrar as finance director to its executive management team.
Director James Digby is leaving Ashfield Land after 15 years’ service to head up HBD’s Bristol office. He joined Ashfield Land in 2005 from Alder King and worked on office developments, logistics, strategic land and residential projects.
BDO has appointed Geraint Jones as national head of real estate. He joined the firm in 1998 and is also its London real estate lead partner.
LendInvest has launched a new structured property finance team, headed up by sales director Tom Madden. The team will work alongside senior business development managers Gary Clark and Michael Minnie to offer a tailored service to property brokers and borrowers.
Knight Frank has appointed Ross Williams to its project and building consultancy team in the Midlands. He joins as an associate chartered building surveyor from Hollis, where he was a member of the dilapidations team and was also responsible for developing and delivering the tenant alterations service in Birmingham.
HUB Group has appointed Victoria Manston as a development manager to oversee its delivery pipeline of several landmark projects. She is a qualified town planner and chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Manston has worked for both national and international developers including Greenland Group and, most recently, Berkeley Homes.
East Midlands firm Joe Player Architects has relaunched as Player Roberts Bell to reflect the business’s growth and its planned expansion into the residential and conservation sectors.
Eileen Fitzpatrick, former head of NewERA at Ireland’s National Treasury Management Agency, has joined Urbeo’s board as non-executive director. Prior to her role at NewERA, Fitzpatrick was chief executive at AIB Investment Managers. She holds non-executive director roles with the Bank of Ireland and KKR Ireland.
Juliet Davenport will join the Crown Estate as a board member on 1 September. She is the founder and chief executive of Good Energy Group, an Innovate UK council member, vice president of the Energy Institute and a board member of the Renewable Energy Association.
