People and companies: Lee Baron expands facilities management team

Lee Baron has expanded its facilities management team with the appointment of Amy Boden (pictured, left) from Propertyserve and Loren Pereira from British Land. They will both work on the Selfridges Neighbourhood Property Portfolio, building on the existing site team.

Colliers’ co-head of cost consultancy, Ayo Ajayi (pictured, right), has been appointed as chair of the Land Collective’s advisory board. He is an RICS APC assessor and chairman, and has previously advised on the RICS Matrics UK and Ireland board.

CPP Investments has appointed Dean Connor and Barry Perry to its board of directors.

Principle Estate Management has appointed Richard Coles as senior building surveyor to head up a new department that will manage long-term maintenance works in-house. He joins from Blacksons Chartered Building Surveyors, where he was associate director.

Hines UK has appointed Daniel Hart as asset manager in the retail and office market. Steven Preedy has joined as an associate to develop the logistics portfolio, and Sinth Murugavarothayan has been appointed as an investment analyst.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Scottish operation has promoted Priya Kharbanda in the rating team, Ewan Stewart within capital markets and Adam Watt in the letting team to senior surveyors.

Anna Shapiro, Laura Matthews, Marie Leyland and Nick Hacking have been promoted to the position of partner at architectural practice Sheppard Robson.

Boyer has made the following promotions: Alice Moore to senior planner in the London office; Clodagh Meehan-Macken to planner in the Cardiff office; Alexandra Bamford to planner in the London office; Lucy Anderson to principal planner in the Wokingham office; and Shavran Kamath to senior urban designer in the London office.

Rider Levett Bucknall UK has appointed Mark Grayson as national head of industrial and manufacturing in its Sheffield office.

The Search Partnership has appointed Edgar Seligman to head up its commercial partnership and Blair Wallace to run its land management partnership. Seligman previously worked for JLL, while Wallace joins from Savills.

Essensys has appointed Eric Schaffer as chief executive officer of its Asia-Pacific business. He joins the group’s operating board and will report to Mark Furness, the group’s founder.

Maple Grove Developments has appointed James Scott as its new development director. He joins from Muse Development, where he was responsible for the delivery of Logic, a 1.2m sq ft industrial scheme in Leeds.

Scarborough Group International has appointed Jon Anderson as project director. He joins from Lambert Smith Hampton, where he was head of the Leeds office. Anderson will oversee the delivery of Scarborough’s growth strategy across the Yorkshire region, including the next phase of Thorpe Park Leeds and Sheffield’s Olympic Legacy Park.
