People and companies: Kirkby Diamond appoints head of Hertfordshire office

Kirkby Diamond has hired Paul Gallagher (pictured, left) to spearhead its drive into the Hertfordshire and north London market.  He will lead the agency expansion along the M1/A1 Corridor.

Aitchison Raffety has promoted Andrew Gray (pictured, second left) to associate director in the planning division. He joined the planning team four years ago in Northampton.

Julia Poulson (pictured, second right) has joined RAB Retail as a director, having previously spent two years there as a consultant.

Colliers has hired Paddy Allen (pictured, right) as head of operational capital markets and a director in its national capital markets team. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield and will focus on alternatives, student housing and operational hotels.

Pro Vision has appointed associate directors Gareth Johns and Luke Vallins to its planning team.

Johnson Fellows has appointed Mark Fitzpatrick as commercial agency partner in its agency team, based in the Birmingham office.

Delancey has appointed Daniel Berger as property and funds director. He joins from AustralianSuper.

Newcore Capital Management has hired Sophie Cowen as fund analyst and Grace Thomas as financial accountant.

Sibbett Gregory has appointed Simon Woodruff as an associate director in the industrial agency team. He was previously a surveyor at JLL.

Tom Setchell has joined the Black Cat Building Consultancy as a director in the London office.

Savills Sweden has appointed Thomas Jalde as a senior occupier services adviser.  He joins from Colliers International.

Helen Robinson has joined BoKlok UK as general counsel. She was formerly a partner at Pinsent Masons specialising in housing-led regeneration schemes and has worked for both public and private sector clients.

L&Q Estates has promoted Ian Hardwick to managing director.

NHBC has appointed Tim Reid to the new role of customer relationship director and promoted Paul Edwards to senior regional director.

Flexible workspace provider x+why has hired Chris Lewis as head of business and Simone Reid-Jones as senior community manager.

Knight Frank has appointed Mel Constantinou as regional lettings partner for south-west London and the home counties. Rohan Short has joined the business rates advisory team in the South West and south Wales from CBRE.

Law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has appointed real estate partners Stephen Kelly and Sarah Mahood in the firm’s Dubai office.

Octopus Real Estate has promoted Peter Hornett as head of residential credit. He joined the firm in 2013.

Savills France has appointed Sébastien Nida as regional investment director based in Lyon.

Strawberry Star has promoted Steven Beveridge to chief executive officer as the firm expands its offering in the UK real estate industry.

VIA Outlets has appointed Geert Paemen as group sustainability director.  She will oversee and develop the business’s sustainability strategy across its business operations and 11 outlet centres in Europe.

Thirdfort has appointed Russell Foley to lead its product development strategy. He joins from Simplify.

Hammerson has appointed Grégoire Peureux to the role of chief operating officer. He joins from Rove Capital Partners.

Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Claire Peebles and Conor Nisbet to senior surveyors in the Glasgow office.

WorkPad has appointed Edward Griffin as chief executive officer and Elliott Morley as chief operating officer to oversee a rebrand in early 2021.

Rayka Rameshan has joined the Lint Group as associate director. She was previously with Land Commercial Surveyors.

Chris Thornton has joined the Edinburgh office of Lismore Real Estate Advisors as an associate.

HBD has appointed Lee Treanor as director in its Manchester office. He joins from Bruntwood following a 20-year career.
