CBRE has appointed Colin Elliot (pictured left) to lead its corporate capital markets business, part of the capital advisors team. Elliot brings more than 30 years’ experience to the role and, until recently, he was the chief financial officer at House of Fraser.
Irwin Mitchell’s national real estate practice has appointed Michelle Beaumont (pictured second from left) as property partner in Leeds. She joins from Pinsent Masons.
SHW has appointed James Neale (pictured second from right) as head of the London recoveries team, a new service focusing on opportunities for debt recovery and dispute resolution. Neale will work closely with the firm’s other LPA receivers across the region.
Commercial property specialist CORE has appointed Ed Thomson (pictured right) as senior project manager. Thomson joins from GVA, where he acted as project manager and agent on a number of significant central London developments.
Andrew Rimmer has joined law firm JMW Solicitors as partner and head of construction.
Bewley Homes has promoted Peter Carpinelli to the position of operations director. He joined the firm as development director in May, and previously worked for Linden, Redrow and David Wilson Homes.
David Salisbury joined the development team at Yorkshire property developer S Harrison.
Care home builder and residential property developer Wynbrook has appointed Darren Tonks as an assistant site manager and Joshua Brookes as an trainee assistant site manager.
Aparthotel brand Native has appointed hotelier Alexandra Brunner as chief operating officer. She was previously an area manager for Premier Inn.
Alex Sansom has joined Colman Architects as a director. He joins from Debenhams, where he was head of design.
National logistics developer DB Symmetry has appointed Justin McVeigh and Sarah Chicken as development surveyors. Sebastian Patrick has been appointed as a graduate surveyor.
Carter Jonas has recruited education specialist Carolyn Puddicombe as a partner in its commercial team based in London. She was previously director of asset & space management at the University of Oxford
The sustainability team at Savills has appointed associate director Suzanne Roberts, associate Sarune Ringelyte and sustainability analysts, Rebecca James and Bethany Hudd at the City of London office.
Alastair Roberts has joined architecture practice Darling Associates as director. He will focus on mixed-use, retail, leisure, hotel, office and residential sectors in London and the South East. Roberts joins from NORR Consultants.
Montagu Evans has appointed lease advisory specialist John Hulme as partner. Hulme was previously head of national lease consultancy at CBRE.
Linden Homes has appointed Trevor Wicks as managing director to head up the Thames Valley region.
Alex Manuel has been appointed associate building surveyor at Lambert Smith Hampton. Manuel has 20 years’ experience working in the commercial, residential, health care and education sectors.
Miller Homes has recruited Mark Jackson as strategic planning director for the Midlands & South, and Ben Hatt has joined the board as strategic planning manager for the South. Both will be based in the Basingstoke office.
JMW solicitors has appointed Andrew Rimmer as partner and head of construction to the real estate commercial team.
Mark Whitear has joined Foundation Home Loans as national sales manager.
Joanne Oldfield is to join the Leeds office of Carter Jonas as senior planner in its planning & development division. She joins from Savills.
Oli Leedham has joined Fairview New Homes as senior land manager responsible for land acquisition in London and the South East. Leedham joins from JLL, where he was part of the residential land team.
Turley has appointed London-based senior director Roger Mascall and Bristol-based senior director Rob Peters as company directors. Mascall heads up the national heritage service and the London office. Peters played a lead role in establishing Turley’s office in Reading.
Suffolk Park developer Jaynic has appointed Nicola Barber as marketing co-ordinator to support the marketing of Suffolk Park, Bury St Edmunds.
Caxtons Chartered Surveyors has appointed Laura O’Donovan as senior building surveyor in its Gravesend building services department.
TFT has made the following appointments: Chris Dark, senior building services engineer in Bristol; Jennifer Hobart, senior building surveyor in Guildford; Wes Norman, senior associate in London; Natalia Ford, senior sustainability consultant in London; Vitaliy Troyan, senior energy and sustainability consultant; and Nova Turner, chartered building surveyor in Manchester.
JLL has appointed Hamish Cameron as an associate director in the BTR and PRS asset management team; Hannah Bowen has been named resident engagement manager; and William Uelese has joined as director of residential property management to oversee the property management teams.
Ryden has named Mark Robertson as managing partner. He takes over from Bill Duguid, who has been named chairman.
