Knight Frank has appointed James Milner (pictured, left) as a partner and head of its Yorkshire valuations team. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield where he was head of valuations in the North of England. He was previously with Sanderson Weatherall.
Hines UK has appointed Damien Hilborne (pictured, second from left) as development director to grow its development pipeline in the UK. He joins from Viridis Real Estate where he was construction director.
Marc Wilson (pictured, second from right) has joined Richborough Estates as director of its central region. He joins from Taylor Wimpey where he was a senior strategic land manager and has nearly 20 years’ experience of working in land, housebuilding and planning.
Green & Partners has promoted Matt Beardall (pictured, right) to equity partner. He joined the firm in 2010 and works in the agency team. Tom Plaine has joined the lease advisory team as a partner from Cushman & Wakefield.
Patrizia has appointed Suzy Denys as head of asset management for Belux (Belgium and Luxembourg) and head of the Belgium country office. She joins from Codabel and will take up the role on 1 July.
University Partnerships Programme has appointed Adam Tyson as construction director. He joins the senior team and will lead the delivery of construction projects across UPP’s portfolio. He previously worked for Balfour Beatty Investments.
Law firm Clyde & Co has appointed finance partner Dean Gormley and real estate partners Andrew Wallis and Kevin Fox in Manchester from Irwin Mitchell. Real estate partner Laura Oliver joins the Guildford office from Hogan Lovells.
Hollis has promoted 47 people in its national and European teams, including new partners: Richard Wyn Morris in the Birmingham office, who joined the firm in 2013 and specialises in commercial project services; and Ross Powell in the Cardiff office, who joined Hollis in 2005 and works in dilapidations, technical due diligence and project management.
Rider Levett Bucknall has appointed partner Stewart Binns as national lead for the healthcare sector. He will manage the firm’s realigned offering with James Costello in capital programmes, Adam Hurst in estate strategy and masterplanning and Brook Smith in six-facet surveys. The new workstreams will align with RLS’s core healthcare sub-sectors, which are central to its national healthcare plan and strategy.
CBRE in Leeds has hired Simon Harrop as an associate director in its valuation team. He joins from Bruton Knowles and previously worked for CBRE in Dubai in the strategic advisory team.
Rupert Wakley has joined Jackson-Stops as head of its Chipping Campden branch in the Cotswolds. He joins following 15 years at Knight Frank, where he was partner and head of the Stow-on-the-Wold office in Gloucestershire, which he set up six years ago. Annabel Wakley will take up the position of head of lettings and Lydia Knight joins as office manager.
Watson Farley & Williams has appointed partner Richard Hughes to its London real estate practice. He joins from Pinsent Mason’s real estate finance team.
Get Living has appointed Ailish Christian-West as director of real estate. She brings more than 20 years’ market experience to the role and will be responsible for managing the business’s £2bn build-to-rent portfolio.
Tommy Village has joined Candour Group from CEG as development manager and will lead on its commercial portfolio, marketing strategy and investor relations. At CEG he worked in the investment and development teams implementing business strategies across office and industrial assets.
Deloitte Real Estate in Manchester has appointed Ahmed Alshawi from Mott MacDonald to its capital projects advisory arm and Lauren Mays has relocated from the firm’s London office to join its development team. They will support the firm’s presence in the North West as it expands its projects and capability in the region.
Law firm CMS has appointed real estate investment trust specialist Phil Nicklin as a tax partner in the corporate practice based in London. He joins from Deloitte where he was a senior partner in the real estate tax group. Nicklin has more than 20 years’ experience advising on large-scale, complex transactions for major real estate companies and funds.
