People and companies: Hayfield boosts its planning team

Housebuilder Hayfield has appointed Tamsin McSmith (pictured, left) as a planner. She joins from Turley and will work with the in-house resource team to drive forward subject-to-planning deals.

FORE Partnership has appointed Giles Edwards (pictured, second left) as an associate director. He has experience across a variety of property assets and joins from London & Cambridge Properties.

David Allsopp (pictured, second right) has joined housebuilder Wainhomes as land director. As head of the Severn Valley region, he will be tasked with delivering strategic sites to achieve Wainhomes’ 2026 homes target.

Stenprop has appointed Paul Batho (pictured, right) to the new role of senior development manager. He joins from St Modwen and will be responsible for managing existing portfolio development opportunities and sourcing new value-add acquisitions.

Osborne+Co has strengthened its Scotland division with the appointment of Scott Easton as development manager and Gary McIlwraith as deputy project director. Easton joins from Core Five and McIlwraith from Unite Students.

Jenefer Greenwood will retire as non-executive director of Assura on 6 July and Louise Fowler will take over as chair of the remuneration committee. Emma Cariaga, Noel Gordon and Sam Barrell have been named as non-executive directors as of 1 May.

Fisher German has promoted Yan Gittins, Matthew Hodgetts and Matthew Trewartha within the partnership.

Maren Tschammler has been appointed as leader of Savills’ investment team in Berlin.

Barton Willmore has promoted directors Mike Knott, Bob McCurry, Lyndon Gill and Simon Carter to partners. Legal director Alexandra Marsh has been appointed as company secretary.

Rüdiger Swoboda has been promoted to the role of executive chief operating officer at Sirius Real Estate.

SEGRO has appointed Simon Fraser and Linda Yueh as independent nonexecutive directors from 1 May as well as members of SEGRO’s remuneration, nomination and audit committees. Fraser will succeed Christopher Fisher as chair of the remuneration committee on 1 July.

Richborough Estates has promoted Joe Jones to regional manager for the Midlands. Alanna Mahoney has been promoted to land and planning manager for the western division and Briony Stenhouse has been appointed land and planning manager in the eastern division.
