Rachel Knowles (pictured, left) has joined Harris Lamb’s property management team as senior surveyor. She joins from Bruntwood.
Tritax Symmetry has promoted Matt Claxton (pictured, second left) to planning director. He joined the firm from GVA in 2018 as an associate director and has led on major planning applications including Symmetry Park, Wigan; Symmetry Park, Darlington; and strategic projects across the North.
Quadrant has appointed Hannah Greenland (pictured, second from right) as an associate partner to assist on transaction management including, disposals, acquisitions, structuring and financing across all asset classes. She joins from Colliers International.
Octopus Real Estate has hired Chris Wishart (pictured, right) as director of its care home fund management team. He will deliver elderly and specialist care real estate acquisitions for institutional-backed funds. He joins from Savills where he was a director.
Retirement village provider Audley Group has appointed Emma Trinder as planning director. She will lead the planning team across all Audley and Mayfield villages in the UK. She joins from ETG Consulting.
Alpha Real Capital has appointed Boris Mikhailov as director for client solutions to help develop the firm’s business with pension funds and advisers. He has previously held senior investment and distribution roles at Aviva Investors and was principal consultant in Mercer’s financial strategy group.
Singapore-based Eilte Partners Capital has appointed James Tootell as head of asset management based in London where he will be responsible for establishing the UK asset management platform for the portfolios of Elite Partners Capital and Elite Commercial REIT. He joins from Telereal Trillium.
Catella APAM has appointed Barry Hill as senior asset manager in its shopping centre team to work on its debt advisory mandates. He has more than 20-years’ experience in UK retail, shopping centres and offices and joins from Aviva Investors.
Nicol & Co has appointed Sarah Jenkins as head of lettings. She had been assisting the company in a consultancy role.
Jersey-based Le Masurier has appointed Brendan McMahon, former CEO of PwC Channel Islands, to its board as a non-executive director and chair of the group’s audit and risk committee.
CBRE has appointed Mike Gedye as head of its newly launched technology sector group. He is currently executive director of CBRE’s strategic advisory occupier team. He will be charged with leading an expert team in developing solutions and products specific to the real estate requirements of technology clients.
Fisher German has promoted Luke Brafield and Mark Gilkes to partners in the Ashby office, and David Kinnersley to head of agribusiness in the Worcester office.
Black Cat Building Consultancy has appointed Matt Garwood as a director in its Bristol office. He previously worked at CS2, Tuffin Ferraby Taylor and Alder King.

Warehouse REIT has hired Scott Edgar as a regional director to oversee all asset management activity across its portfolio in Scotland and the north of England. He joins from 4Corners Industrial Asset Management and brings 20 years’ experience in managing multilet industrial and logistics properties in the UK.
Techspace has appointed Jonathan Bevan as chief executive. He was previously CEO at Ministry of Sound where he led the diversification of the brand, creating shared workspace.
Law firm Clifford Chance has appointed Edward Bretherton as a partner in its global real estate team based in London.
Civic Engineers has promoted Leah Stuart from head of transport to director for UK-wide projects.
Residential Secure Income REIT has appointed Elaine Bailey as an independent non-executive director. She was formerly chief executive of Hyde Group.

Alison Harrison has been appointed village manager at Austin Heath’s retirement community in Leamington. She joins from Kew Green Hotels.
