Anna James (pictured left) has joined the London professional services team at Fleurets as a senior surveyor. She will advise clients on valuation and lease consultancy matters across the licensed and leisure sectors.
Elan Homes has appointed John Brown (pictured second from left) as land director for its Midlands business, in support of its expansion plans.
Strettons has appointed James Carney (pictured second from right) as associate director of development viability; Chris Wade has been made associate director in the industrial agency team; and Graeme Riches has been promoted to head of block management in the residential management team.
Knight Frank’s London team has appointed Janet Franklin as a partner from Avison Young. Mary Elizabeth Rankin (pictured right) has been appointed as marketing and community director from Chicago Loop Alliance.
Caxtons has appointed Tony Martin as associate director. He joined the firm in 2006 and was made head of block management in 2016.
Urban&Civic has appointed Rosemary Boot and Sanjeev Sharma as independent non‑executive directors.
Rapleys has promoted Guy Davies and Rebecca Harper to senior associates in building consultancy and investment in London, respectively; Josie Hayes in the Birmingham building consultancy team and Chloe Ballantine in the London town planning team have been made associates; Conor Healy has been made senior planner in town planning in London; and Charles Alexander has been promoted to senior surveyor in the London development services group.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Scottish business has promoted Ashley Hare, Fergus MacLennan, Stewart McMillan and Laura Mitchell to partners; Calum Henderson has been made senior building surveyor; and Graham Evans and Lucy Bell have been promoted to senior surveyors.
Gowling WLG has recruited Nick Mumby as a partner in its commercial development and investment real estate team. He was previously a partner at Fladgate.
Galliford Try Partnerships has made the following appointments to its North West team: Julian Kirk has joined as commercial director; David Rogers, Helen Nevins-Batty and Jonathan Hunt have been appointed as quantity surveyors; David Yates has been made managing quantity surveyor; Phil Rees joins the technical team as a design co-ordinator; and Mike Grindrod has been recruited to the role of services coordinator.
Intu has appointed Dushyant Sangar as chief investment officer responsible for implementing the company’s investment strategy and managing its acquisitions and disposals. He joined the firm in 2014.
Rural Solutions has appointed Dawn Mercer as a senior consultant based in Oxfordshire and Richard Baldwin as associate director in Skipton.

George Moss has joined Helme & Partners as director of building consultancy. He joins from LSH.

Prosperity Capital has appointed Howard Woollaston as non-executive chairman. He was previously a senior partner at Knight Frank until his retirement in 2014.
St Modwen has appointed Rupert Joseland as managing director of its new industrial and logistics business. Ian Romano has been appointed as senior development director, David Binks as senior leasing director and Richard Carter as senior construction director.
CBRE has appointed David Currie as senior director and head of development advisory in Birmingham. He joins from Public Sector, where he was regional director for the Midlands.
Kemsley has promoted Chris Cornhill to senior associate in its Chelmsford agency team. He will deal primarily with retail and offices across central Essex.
Todd Architects has appointed Katie Parfitt as principal of its London office. She was previously an associate at Stride Treglown.
Cording Real Estate Group has appointed Merel Versteegh as fund financial controller in its industrial team in Amsterdam.
Lornham has appointed Laura Snook as manager in the property management team. She joins from Portman Estate.
Midlands-based property developer Hampton Brook has appointed Matthew Connor as development director from JLL to focus on the growth of its commercial development portfolio.

Margherita Pende has been appointed as senior project manager and Sebastian Thomas joins the team as project manager. Jonathan Robinson has been recruited as associate building services engineer in Birmingham, Monika Polnik has joined as rights of light CAD surveyor in London and Ben Jeanes has been appointed as a senior building surveyor in London.
