DWS has appointed Issie Armstrong (pictured, left) as senior real estate investment specialist in its London-based team. She joins from Aviva Investors, where she was an investment director.
Your Lead In has appointed estate agency veteran Mike Spencer (pictured, right) as a non-executive director. He brings more then 45 years of property experience to the role and will focus on business operations and strategic development for the lead-generation company.
Knight Frank has appointed Tom Rigg as partner in its automotive team. Ryan Richards has joined as an analyst to support its commercial research team in providing insights and data on the healthcare property sector.
Paul King has been promoted to head of sustainability at DLA Architecture. He will operate across its Leeds, Manchester and London studios to deliver net-zero carbon architecture across all work sectors.
Joseph Homes has appointed Ross Stewart as head of land. He joins from Mackenzie Homes and will oversee new land acquisitions as the company expands its London footprint.
Scarborough Group International has appointed Andrew Udall as head building inspector and Joseph Udall as project manager as it expands its project management activity across the Northern Powerhouse.
Solihull-based Living Space Housing has hired Wayne Smith as a buyer from Midland Metro Alliance.
Cushman & Wakefield has grown its Scottish team with the appointment of Martin Whittaker as building surveyor to the project and development services team. Graduate surveyor Kevin Strain has joined the business space team.
Avant Homes has appointed Sarah Fenton to the role of regional development director. She will be responsible for leading the regional development team while overseeing the technical and commercial functions of the business.
Law firm BDB Pitmans has appointed Hugh Lumby as a consultant to its real estate practice. He was previously head of global real estate at Ashurst.
Dominic Grace has joined Austrian proptech company Propster as a special adviser to support its expansion to the UK. Grace previously worked for Savills for 37 years, where he was head of London residential development.
Sanderson Weatherall has boosted its Birmingham office with the appointment of partners Oliver Young and James Carver.
Kim Hourihan has been appointed global chief investment officer for CBRE Global Investors, effective January 2022. She will succeed Jeremy Plummer, who is retiring after a career of nearly 40 years. Julie Ingersoll will take over as chief investment officer for Americas direct real estate strategies. Larissa Belova has been promoted to portfolio manager for US core strategies.
Construction and regeneration business Real has appointed Viv Frankham as chief financial officer. She joins from Workplace Group, where she was head of finance for the past nine years.
Letting agency Accommodation.co.uk has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Russell Gould, chief executive of Vesta Property, as a board adviser, Georgie Harper-Wilde as head of build-to-rent and Donna Miles as head of partnerships.
