People and companies: Colliers appoints head of EMEA location strategy

Colliers International has appointed Elias van Herwaarden (pictured, left) as head of its new EMEA location strategy service for global occupiers. 

Debra Bisley (pictured, right) has joined Newport-based Paul Fosh Auctions as a graduate surveyor. 

Delancey has appointed Zeynep Fetvaci as its new head of business development and investor relations. She has over 20 years’ experience in real estate fundraising, investing and asset management, and joins from JLL, where she was a managing director and co-head of global funds advisory team in EMEA. 

Aviva Investors has named Mark Versey as its new chief executive. He will take up the post immediately, replacing Euan Munro who is stepping down after seven years in the role.  

Fisher German’s Ashby office in Leicestershire has promoted Amy Bowden to senior development surveyor, and Ben Minns and Tamsin Warr to senior surveyors.

Urban Union in Glasgow has appointed Colin Page as site manager and Ian Whitelaw as assistant site manager at its Laurieston Living development. Andrew Bell and James McGuinness have joined as site manager and assistant site manager, respectively, at its Pollokshaws development.

Bond Wolfe Auctions has promoted Sue Randell to chief operating officer. She began her career with Bond Wolfe as an office junior in 1992.

Savills has appointed Philip Lee and Richard Orders as independent non-executive directors. Rupert Robson will retire after the company’s annual general meeting in May, and Tim Freshwater will retire from the board on 31 December. 

Prosperity Law has promoted property solicitor Siobhan Beattie to partner. She joined the firm in April as head of residential conveyancing.

Laughlan Steer has joined Goodman Derrick as an associate to strengthen its city-based construction law service. 

Vistry Group has promoted Sally Seabrook and Andy Norton to divisional finance directors in the East and South divisions respectively. 

Office Principles has promoted Gary Tailby and Tina Batham to joint managing directors of its Midlands business. 

Norton Rose Fulbright has hired partner Jennie Dorsaint from Paul Hastings to expand its real estate finance and structured finance practices in London.

HBD has promoted Simon Raiye to director in its Birmingham team. Raiye is leading HBD’s delivery of the Phoenix 10 project in Walsall, one of the region’s largest regeneration schemes.

LCR has appointed Amy Blackwell as asset management director. Mark Cruddas joins from Nuveen Real Estate as head of retail asset management. Rick Lawrence has been appointed as property and partnerships director and will lead the firm’s collaboration with Network Rail. 

Hammerson has appointed Mike Butterworth as a new non-executive director. 

Emily Prideaux, director of leasing at Derwent London, will take up a board seat at the company as an executive director on 1 March.
