People and companies: Chancerygate appoint development manager for the south

Cluttons has appointed Claire Collins (pictured left) as head of block management in its London-based property management team. She has previously held roles at Currell Management, Braemar Estates and Burlington Estates.

Northacre has hired Robert Gibson (pictured second from left) as its new construction director. Gibson has worked in the construction industry for more than 30 years and has previously worked for Berkeley Homes and Bouygues.

Legal & General Affordable Homes has appointed former CapCo director Anette Simpson (pictured second from right) as director of development and partnerships. She will lead and co-ordinate the delivery of L&G’s affordable housing schemes and oversee all aspects of development to legal completion.

Chancerygate has appointed Matthew Young (pictured right) as development manager with responsibility for the south of England. He joins from Kier Property and has eight years’ experience within the commercial property sector, working for both private and public sector organisations.

Savills has appointed Jan Jurčíček as head of its building & project consultancy department, based in Prague. He joins from Arcadis.

LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Richard Craddock as managing director for whole loans in the debt & special situations team, Europe.

The Unite Group has made the following board appointments: Shirley Pearce joins as a non-executive director; Steve Smith joins as a non-executive director on 1 April 2020; and Tim Wilson, non-executive director and chair of the health & safety committee, will step down from the board on 31 December.

FirstPort has appointed Alex Jones as regional manager for London and the Home Counties. She joins following 21 years at Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants. Jones will manage a portfolio of 150 developments with a team of 10 property managers.

Andrew Soane has joined Vail Williams as a surveyor in its property valuation team at its Woking office. He joins from Rushmoor Borough Council, where he worked on its property portfolio and undertook estate management, lettings and lease renewals.

Daniel Puchalski has joined Knight Frank Poland as managing partner to oversee the transaction teams.

Deutsche Finance International has appointed Daniel Filser from Allianz Real Estate and Jonni Glick from InfraRed Capital as a senior associate and an analyst, respectively.

Bruton Knowles has appointed Guy Peters as a surveyor from Hargreaves Newberry Gyngell. He specialises in residential leasehold reform and valuation. Antony Rapley joins as a senior surveyor with more than 14 years’ commercial experience in the private and public sectors; Jamie Rothery has been hired as land rights officer and will undertake land access negotiations; and Ben Kirby joins as a graduate surveyor from GL Hearn and will undertake valuations and development for clients.

Granger Reis has appointed Jamie Griffiths-Mead as partner in its real estate practice. He joins from Carmichael Fisher, where he led mandates for a variety of property consultants, developers and funds across EMEA & North America.

LOWE Guardians has appointed Jonathan Forrester as senior property manager to manage its property portfolio and property team. He is joined by Josh McQueen as property manager and Bogdan Dobrita as property maintenance operative.

Katherine Putnam has joined RPS as head of its north west planning team. She joins from Chartway Group and has experience of working with housebuilders, unitary, county and local authorities, and planning consultancies.

Higgins Construction has promoted Yaseen Parkar to the role of pre-construction director (technical), as well as to the board of directors.

Glenhawk has appointed Daron Kularatnam, formerly of Investec Bank and Belmont Green Finance, as group treasurer. He will be based in London and report to chief executive Guy Harrington.

Law firm TLT has appointed Rich Hughes as banking and finance partner in London. He joins from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Quadrant has appointed George MacEwan as associate partner. He joins from UBS Asset Management.

MAPP has promoted Justin Mills, Matthew Gioia and Poppy Edwards to client directors.

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Louise Rushmer as account lead for the firm’s corporate portfolio, within its global occupier services team. She will lead the management of its UK real estate portfolio and related facilities management, as well as its EMEA real estate portfolio.

Russell Francis will retire as head of the valuation and advisory services department at Colliers International in January. He will retain an executive advisory role, allowing him to focus on specific mandates and clients. Sara Duncan has been appointed as his successor.

Amy Ross has joined Higgins Construction as head of social value. She will work with the board of directors to shape and drive the company’s social value strategy. She previously worked for Morgan Sindell Property Services.
