People and companies: Carter Jonas appoints London commercial partner

Carter Jonas has recruited Justin James (pictured, left) to its London commercial team.  He joins from Gerald Eve as a partner to drive central London investment capabilities.

Bruton Knowles has announced that James Bailey (pictured, right) will lead the firm as managing partner for the next three years.  He has worked for Bruton Knowles for 22 years.

Real estate adviser Xprop has appointed Jerry Holmes as a residential and development consultant and Nick Brooks as a development consultant.

Hines has recruited James Morrow from DWS Group as a managing director for its European capital markets team. He will be based in London and will lead on capital raising in Europe.

Study Inn Group has appointed finance director Gurvinder Gill to spearhead funding and support the company’s expansion plans.

Stoneweg has hired James Young and James Martinelli from Artemis Investment Management to run its new London office in Marylebone.

Kalmars has appointed Tallulah Davids as office coordinator, Brendan McMillan as retail and decentralised office consultant, and Anthony Carter as junior office consultant.

Retirement Villages Group has appointed Hetal Trivedi as chief financial officer, Neal Haywood as director of project, and Sam Gibson joins as technology director.

Coke Gearing has appointed Paul Fitch, former head of Lambert Smith Hampton’s Chelmsford office, as a director. He joins the commercial team as it extends its reach along the A12.

Mirko Kittler will join Savills Germany in January as a director in its Düsseldorf office. He previously worked for Colliers International.

Crest Nicholson has appointed Ralph Hawkins as the divisional managing director for the South West. He previously worked for Taylor Wimpey’s Bristol office.

Knight Frank has strengthened its residential offering in Birmingham by appointing Rob Mitchell and Susannah Jones as associates in the planning and development and new homes teams.

Elouise Hinton has joined MetroPM as customer service and compliance manager in its Birmingham office.

Savills France has appointed Damien Léger as regional director for the North and Olivier Allen as regional director for the South West.

Johns & Co has promoted David McCooke as head of its new residential development division. He has worked at the firm for five years managing build to rent and PRS projects.

Atrato Group has appointed Carcie Rogers as the head of investor relations and will be responsible for managing the investor relations function.

Colliers International has appointed Mike Bickerton as head of new homes and Nanette Hung as an associate director in its residential new homes team. Both previously worked for the residential team at Cushman & Wakefield.

Luxury property development Caudwell Collection has rebranded to Caudwell and has appointed Uri Mizrahi as chief construction officer and Simon Walker as director of sales.

Connells Group has appointed Paul Quelch as land director for the Sequence brands of William H Brown, Allen & Harris and Brown & Merry.
