Bruton Knowles has appointed associate town planner Clare Taylor in its Cardiff office. She will be responsible for planning projects across Wales and the South West.

Nick Martel has joined real estate law firm Davitt Jones Bould as a non-executive. He previously headed CBRE’s EMEA retail business and advised clients including HSBC, Sainsbury’s and Transport for London.
Luke Whittaker of Holt Commercial has qualified as a chartered surveyor. He joined the firm in 2012.
Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has appointed Henry Ranchon and Laurent Schittenhelm to its real estate practice in Paris.
The Association of Real Estate Funds has appointed Paul Richards as managing director. He has more than 30 years’ experience in investment, corporate finance and research. He previously worked for Mercer.

UBS Asset Management has appointed Gaetano Lepore as head of its Italian real estate business. Lepore will also retain his role as portfolio manager.
