Metis Real Estate Advisors has promoted Suzanne Wainwright (pictured left) to director, advising clients including Liverpool ONE and Manchester Arndale. Luke Nicholson has been made an associate director in the retail and leisure leasing team. Rafi Margulies is joining as a senior surveyor.

Oliver King (pictured second from left) has joined leasing and development specialist Ashwell London as a director advising commercial real estate owners and occupiers.

Law firm Birketts has appointed Kali Yau (pictured second from right) and Ros Nuttall as legal directors in the planning and environmental team.

Charles McCosh (pictured right) has joined Savills as head of its new residential lettings service in Edinburgh.

Generator Group has appointed Jason Schofield as development director for its South West division. He will oversee the region’s existing projects and spearhead new regeneration projects including Redcliffe Wharf in Bristol city centre.

Craig Luttman has been appointed deputy group director of development and sales at housing association L&Q.

Aprirose has appointed Shijun Liu to lead its new Asia-Pacific desk to support clients looking to invest in the UK property market. The desk will co-ordinate inbound cross-border activity between south-east Asia and the UK.

Northampton-based real estate firm Barwood Capital has appointed Graham Wood as chief financial officer. Hugo Trower has joined as investment director.

Trebor Developments has appointed Glen Cooke as project management director to head the design and implementation of schemes across the UK. James Drew has been made development director to lead major speculative, industrial, developments in the South West and East Midlands.

Turley in Leeds has appointed Sarah Cox as associate director in its planning team. She joins from Barton Wilmore. Michael Browne has transferred from Turley’s Birmingham office and will focus on the delivery of environmental impact assessment services. Karina Withers has joined as an urban designer and previously worked at Pegasus.

Coyote Software has appointed Rob Bould as its first chairman. Bould, currently non-executive director, has been a board member since joining Coyote in October 2017.

AEW has appointed Bianca Kraus as a director of investor relations in Munich, Germany.

Real estate investor and manager Cromwell Property Group has promoted Wouter Zwetsloot to head of real estate in Europe.

Birmingham-based law firm Emms Gilmore Liberson has promoted Richard Cooper, Beth Margetson and Jon Start to partners in its property services division.

Paragon has hired former Welsh rugby international Adrian Davies as client care director. Davies has 14 years’ experience in business development and is one of the founding directors of business development agency Clear Partners.

Eversheds Sutherland has made the following partner promotions: Balraj Birdi in London; Peter Bowen in Leeds; Elizabeth Cartwright in Manchester; Ben Newton in Birmingham; Philipp Turnwald in Munich; and Daniel Walsh in Birmingham.

Residential developer This Land has appointed Susan Freeman, David Meek, Jeremy Miller and Richard Steer to the company board as non-executive directors.

Dan Shaw has joined Lambert Smith Hampton in Lincoln as a surveyor. He previously worked for Peel Airports.

Lee Evans has appointed Nathan Antony as a partner. He will focus on strengthening connections with local authorities, national housing developers and contractors across London and the South East.

Acorn Property Group has recruited Harry Renshaw-Smith as sales manager for Bristol. He previously worked for Savills and will manage the on-site sales teams.

Principle Estate Management has appointed chartered surveyor and leasehold expert Samuel Boot as a consultant.

Law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has promoted Tomás DÍaz Mielenhausen to partner in its European real estate practice.

Chancerygate has hired George Jerram as an asset manager. He previously worked for Square Metre Asset Management and Colliers International.

Aviva Investors has appointed Michael Maddox as origination manager for its real estate long-income fund team. He will focus on sourcing and originating investment opportunities across institutional mandates.

The Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners has appointed John Midgley as a member of its executive committee.

Rural Solutions has appointed Sally Ormiston as head of advisory to lead a team of advisory consultants focusing on rural communities.
