Glenny has promoted John Baker (pictured, left) to equity partner. He will retain his post as managing director of the firm’s in-house architectural division, Dovetail Architects.
Debbie Francis (pictured, second left) has joined Arcadis as city executive for the Northern Powerhouse region. She has more than 20 years’ experience at executive and board level across a range of sectors, including education, health, infrastructure and utilities. She joins from Direct Rail Services.
Law firm DLA Piper Scotland has promoted Carolyne Hair (pictured, second right) to partner, real estate. She joined the firm in 2005 and is experienced in acting for landowners in the disposal of residential development sites.
LCP has appointed investment director James Buchanan (pictured, right) as joint managing director. Based at Millbank Tower in London, he will be responsible for overseeing retail development and the development of multi-use schemes across the UK.
Luke Blockley has joined Whittle Jones as assistant lettings and management surveyor in its North West office. He will manage estates across Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
Kevin Muscat will join Mileway, the pan-European last-mile logistics real estate company, on 1 October as head of transactions. He previously worked at Patrizia.
Eddisons has promoted Joseph Fitzsimmons and Richard Temple to directors, based at its Leeds HQ. Fitzsimmons joined the firm in 2015 and is a specialist in the education sector. Temple provides technical leadership expertise and joined the firm as a graduate in 2007.
Former BlackRock Property chief Marcus Sperber has launched NorthCroft Capital, a new property investment and advisory business, with David Bearman, founding partner of Firefly Capital. The firm will focus on partnering with people, businesses and communities to deliver solutions in the built environment that help provide a better financial and socially sustainable future for stakeholders.
INREV, the European association for investors in non-listed real estate vehicles, has appointed Iryna Pylypchuk as director of research and market information. She joins from Fidelity International.
Potter Space has appointed Jason Rockett as managing director. He joins from Gentian Development Group and bring more than 25 years’ experience to the role. Rockett replaces Matthew Lamb, who has stepped down after 15 years with the company.
Hill Group has appointed Matt Tunley as head of strategic land. He is a qualified chartered town planner and has 20 years’ experience in the acquisition of strategic land across the UK. In his new role, Tunley will work to increase the number of development opportunities across the group, as well as supporting regional expansion across the South West. He was previously a land director at Wates Group.
Unispace has appointed Steven Quick as global chief executive and Michael Casolo as chief revenue officer to guide business and clients in international markets through the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic with office fit-outs, commercial tenancies and real estate portfolios.
Savills has appointed Massimo Bassani to head its business space property management team in Italy. He joins from Agire.
The Urban Land Institute has appointed Sarah Musgrove as UK executive director. She joins from Greystar where she managed estates and capital delivery for the London office.
Glenhawk has appointed Andrew Townsend as chief financial officer and Ryan Benton as finance director.
Principle Estate Management has recruited Carrie-Anne Bowden-Baker as property inspector to support the company’s growth in the South East. She previously worked at Mainstay Residential.
Pembroke has appointed Matthew Knight as vice president for European development. He has relocated from Australia and will oversee Pembroke’s development and capital projects in the UK, Germany and the Nordics.
Linkcity, the development company of Bouygues Group, has appointed Axel Boutrolle as managing director. He has been with the firm for 26 years and was most recently deputy managing director of Linkcity. Boutrolle was previously chief executive of Uliving and director for residential development at Linkcity.
Law firm Irwin Mitchell has recruited Richard Allan as a senior consultant in its national construction team in Manchester. He joins from Knights and has also worked at DLA Piper and Pinsent Masons.
Haydn Mursell has been appointed chairman at Apex to help grow the business, shape policy, and seek new financing opportunities for 2021.
Lloyds Bank has appointed Oliver Shaw as relationship director in its real estate team to support property SMEs across Yorkshire.
Deutsche Finance International, the pan-European private equity real estate investor, has opened a new office in Madrid and appointed Juan Gomez Vega as investment director for southern Europe. Vega joins from Neinor Homes and has more than 15 years’ experience in real estate debt and equity investment and asset management across Europe, the US and South America.
Patrick Mahoney has relaunched Greenbrook Group, which will focus on delivering commercial, residential and mixed-use schemes throughout the UK. He previously worked for Salmon Developments for eight years and was a board director since 2015.
Delva Patman Redler has appointed neighbourly matters specialist Ashley Patience as a partner. He began his career with the firm 15 years ago before joining GIA, where he was equity partner.
Damian Greenish has joined Forsters as a senior consultant in its real estate practice.
