Aitchison Raffety has appointed David Mathieson (pictured, left) as a director to lead its education team. He will provide valuation and strategic property advice to the education sector across the country. He joins from CBRE.
Carter Jonas has elected James Bainbridge, currently head of the firm’s planning and development division, as chairman, with effect from 1 November. He takes over from Simon Pallett, who has held the position since 2015. The firm has also appointed partner Katy Davis (pictured, right) to its planning and development board. A chartered planning and development surveyor with more than 18 years’ experience, she joined the firm in 2014.
Law firm Ashurst has promoted Vicki Aron in Sydney and Eleanor Reeves in London to partner in global real estate, with effect from 1 November.
Colliers International has hired Harriet Wiseman as associate director for business development in London. She joins from HLW.
Lucy McGowan-Scanlon has joined Bruce Gillingham Pollard as head of pop-ups in London and the Home Counties. She joins from Debenhams.
Anna Clare Harper has been named chief executive of SPI Capital, an algorithm-driven property asset manager launching in 2021. She was previously property strategist at Anglo Residential.
Delva Patman Redler has promoted Lok Tang to partner, Jessica Rhodes to associate and Conor Healy to senior surveyor in its London team.
Fisher German has appointed Daniel Hayhurst as head of agency at its Knutsford office. He has more than 17 years of experience in the sector and has worked across Cheshire, North Wales and Anglesey.
Deutsche Finance International, the pan-European private equity real estate investor, has appointed Ben McComb as chief financial officer. He previously worked at Henderson Park.
Yorkshire property consultancy Dove Haigh Phillips has appointed Tom Day as partner. He founded investment firm Stephenson Day in 2003.
Redrow has appointed Elgan Jones as finance director for housing divisions Redrow North West and Redrow Lancashire. Mark Dawson has been appointed as technical director and James Whiteley as commercial director for Redrow Lancashire.
Weston Homes has promoted Graeme Mitchell to technical director to oversee the design, development and delivery of developments and residential units. He has more than 19 years’ experience in the construction industry, with four years as southern regional technical director for Weston Homes.
Nexus Planning has appointed planning and regeneration specialist Murray Graham as director to manage its Manchester office. He joins from Iceni Projects and brings to the role a wealth of experience and knowledge from his 30-year career.
Modular housing company TopHat has appointed Ocado Technology chief executive James Matthews to the board. Kate Davies, chief executive of Notting Hill Genesis, also joins the board and Carl Leaver has been appointed chairman.
Basingstoke-based commercial property surveyor Baker Davidson Thomas has appointed Linda Staker as a rating strategist and analyst.
