People and companies: Navana Property Group appoints build to rent director

Navana Property Group has appointed Katherine Rose (second right) as director of build to rent and private rented sector. She will support clients across the lifecycle of BTR projects from design consultancy and mobilisation, through to analysis of operational data and full-service building management. She previously worked at PRSim.

Levy Real Estate has appointed Will Grant (left) as a partner in the residential and capital markets. He was previously a senior director at JLL and has more than 16 years’ experience advising on residential-led developments across London with a particular emphasis towards co-living and mixed-use schemes.

Strettons has promoted Sharon Brandelli and Britt Clark to directors and Aasia Pathan (right) to associate director.

Simon Utley (second left) has joined Gleeson as commercial director. He joins after 12 years at Bellway Homes where he was commercial director for the Yorkshire division. Arron Passarelli has been promoted to regional managing director for Gleeson’s North West and Cumbria division.

Joe Stelzer, former managing partner at Cavendish corporate finance, has launched Silver Cloud Investment. It will provide capital investment and support during the Covid-19 crisis to the market sectors: industrial technology; telecoms and business services and software.

Jake West has joined CBRE’s valuation and advisory team in Leeds. He joins as an associate director and will undertake valuations for fund, REIT and property company clients. West previously worked for Lambert Smith Hampton.

PGIM Real Estate has hired Sara Shank as managing director and global head of innovation. Based in its Manhattan office, she will work across the firm’s global debt and equity platform.

Law firm Charles Russell Speechlys has promoted to partners, Alexander Gold and Eddie Richards in real estate; and Helen Coward in corporate tax.

London investor-developer Avanton has appointed Omer Weinberger as chief executive; Peter Murphy as executive director and a member of the investment committee; Elizabeth Williams as after-care sales representative; and Sinead Fox as a development analyst.

Landbridge has appointed Ben Wheaton as an equity partner. He specialises in land agency, professional consultancy and planning and development services.

Property developer HBD has appointed Richard Hinds as a development surveyor.  He joins from JLL and will support the delivery of schemes across Yorkshire and the North East, including the International Advanced Manufacturing Park, The Chocolate Works and Wyvern Park in Skipton.

TLT has hired Stacey Cassidy as a partner in the projects, infrastructure and construction team in Glasgow. She previously worked at Pinsent Masons. Michael Spence joins the Edinburgh office as a real estate partner specialising in development and strategic land from Womble Bond Dickinson.

Savills has appointed David Easton as head of its East London office. He has 15 years’ experience in the industry and joins from Keatons.

Law firm Lawrence Stephens Solicitors has named Paul Marsh a partner.  He joined the firm as a senior associate in 2016.

Target Healthcare REIT board of directors has appointed Alison Fyfe as an independent non-executive director. She is a member of the RICS, the Investment Property Forum and a former policy board member of the Scottish Property Federation.

Former Crosslane Student Development directors Andy Watson and Jon Stewart, and former colleague Lisa Timberlake have established CoLiCo Living, a niche developer focusing on developing City Centre Micro Living projects.

Law firm Davitt Jones Bould has appointed Wendy Lavidge as head of business growth. She has more than 30 years’ experience advising on business development strategy and planning.

RE5Q, AI real estate data provider, has appointed Michael Spies to the board as a non-executive director. He is founder of Fuse Strategies and was previously senior managing director at Tishman Speyer for 30 years.

Cratus Communications has recruited Helen Tilton to run its operations in the South West of England and to assist its local government and developer clients.

Gowling WLG has appointed real estate partners Dominic Morris and Paul Barker as head of senior living and property litigation specialist, respectively. Morris joins from Eversheds Sutherland and Barker returns to the firm from Higgs & Sons.

Mark Kildea has been appointed as chief operating officer at The Howard de Walden Estate.

Sanne has appointed Katy Hodgetts as director in its Guernsey office.  She will support the development of the business across the private equity, real estate, infrastructure, private credit and hedge fund sectors.

Partner Michelle McGurl has been named head of Osborne Clarke’s projects, real estate and finance practice group. She joined the firm in 2007.
