Cushman & Wakefield has appointed surveyor Charles Swanson (pictured left) to its Bristol logistics and industrial team. Swanson joins from the Knight Frank Middle East office in Dubai. In his new role he will provide strategic advice on the acquisition, asset management and disposal of logistics and industrial properties on behalf of landlords, developers and occupiers across Bristol and the South West region.

Knight Frank has promoted Harry Dawes (pictured second from left ) to head of the sales team in its Knightsbridge office. He takes over from Rupert des Forges who has been appointed head of the central London developments team.

Nicola Burke (pictured second from right) has joined Tunstall Real Estate Asset Management as general counsel from Goodwin Procter. She will be responsible for corporate transactions, capital raising, joint ventures, corporate governance and debt origination.

Former Sweett senior director Andrew Wildgust (pictured right) is to head up WPS’s healthcare advisory services team, delivering NHS business cases, estate strategies and healthcare planning. Ian Martin, Neil Horton and David Crowder have been appointed as technical directors to the project and commercial services team and building services team.

The Plymouth office of Bruton Knowles has recruited Philip Treveil to the commercial property team. As a senior surveyor, he will focus on valuation work for loan security, pension fund, statutory and charity purposes.

DM Hall has appointed Philip Bell to its building consultancy team in Edinburgh.  Bell has more than 30 years’ experience in commercial building surveying and project management.

EY has appointed Helen Pratten to its real estate, hospitality and construction practice. Pratten will advise UK and international clients working with EY’s real estate team in tax, corporate finance, assurance and advisory.

Stewart Milne Group has appointed Bryan Galloway as its new construction director for central Scotland. He will responsible for increasing the number of homes built in the region.

McCarthy & Stone has appointed Paul Lester to the board as a non-executive director and chairman designate on 3 January.

International real estate fund and asset manager Pradera has appointed Alison Rehill-Erguven as chief executive of Pradera Retail Asia.

Hanover Housing Association has appointed Peter Hay, Nicole Bruce and Mike Green to the board.

Yorkshire law firm LCF has appointed Hywel Morgan, Jennifer Lee and Simona Zvingilaite to its commercial property team.

PIB Insurance Brokers has promoted specialist rights of light and legal indemnity broker Fraser Pratt to the position of head of property and construction.

BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Steve Norris as a senior adviser.

Fisher German has recruited Richard Gadd to its national country agency team from Savills.

Metropolitan has appointed Mark Everard as its executive director of property to lead its recently created property directorate.

Retail property advisor Fawcett Mead has appointed Ed Kievenaar as a senior investment analyst. He joins the investment team from Vixcroft and will advise clients on acquisitions and disposals, asset and development management, underwriting and financial modelling.

Fox & Sons has recruited homes manager Richard Elliott and land manager Stuart Renwick to its land and new homes division in Sussex.

Simon Russian has been promoted  to head of retail  at Legal & General. Russian has more than 20 years’ retail experience and will report to Michael Barrie, head of fund management.

Parkinson Real Estate has promoted Mark Smith to the post of equity director. He joined the practice as a graduate surveyor in April 2007.

JLL Scotland has appointed Alistair Reid as head of office agency and Angela White has been made head of corporate services in Glasgow.

KLM Retail has appointed Oli Marcroft to the retail and leisure team as an associate partner.   Marcroft has previously worked at King Sturge and JLL specialising in out of town and leisure sectors, advising landlords on development and asset management strategies and tenants on acquisitions and disposals.

SP Property Group has appointed Alice Duggan as a senior block manager for its building portfolio.

Alex Hirst has rejoined Lambert Smith Hampton as associate director for the South Coast offices retail agency from Lidl. He was previously a surveyor with LSH from 2014-16.
