Adam Rhead  (pictured left) has joined Gerald Eve as a partner in its planning and development team. He previously worked for Deloitte Real Estate and has more than 14 years’ experience in development and valuation in London and the Midlands.

Farebrother has appointed Nick Patterson (pictured second from left) as an associate partner in its occupier services team. Formerly with CBRE, Patterson has worked with occupiers including Kraft Heinz, Coty Inc, and Guinness World Records providing acquisition, disposal and lease advisory consultancy.

Nicholas West (pictured second from right) has joined Cushman & Wakefield’s healthcare advisory team from NHS Property Services. He will provide financial modelling and analytics to the healthcare valuation and transactional teams.

Colliers International has recruited Rob Faulkner (pictured right) as a director in its investment property management team. He joins from Lambert Smith Hampton and will be responsible for the management of the recently secured Friends Life mandates and supporting the IPM team to acquire new business.

Sovereign Centros has appointed Michael Thomas as senior asset and development manager. He joins from Landsec.

CVS has made the following senior surveyor appointments: Elizabeth Draycott, North West of England and North Wales; Simon Penny, South East; and Jon Abbott, north and central London. Timothy Eyre joins as a specialist referencer in the London office.

Property adviser Stanley Hicks has appointed Harry Flood as a director in its valuation team. Flood joins from Colliers International and will use his experience across commercial property sectors and client base to provide broader valuation expertise to commercial, government and institutional sectors.

Harris Lamb has appointed Tina Cannon as residential property manager. She previously worked for Purple Bricks.

Former Landsec retail managing director Richard Akers will join central London specialist Shaftesbury as a non‑executive director on 28 November.

MDA Consulting has promoted Richard Hall and Kester Mein to directors in the London office; Chris Lester to associate director in the Bristol office; and Lettice Swan to associate in the London office.

Rainier Developments has appointed Gavin Gallagher as a planning director.

Vail Williams has appointed associates Deborah Campbell from CBRE and Stephanie Edwards from Pearce & Company to its property asset management team. They have more than 40 years’ experience in property and asset management, service charge and treasury management, lease management, and facilities management.

ING Wholesale Banking has recruited Michele Monterosso as head of real estate finance in Germany and Austria.

Hostel owner and operator Safestay has appointed Sharon Segal as finance director and company secretary. Segal joins from hospitality company the One Group.

Solicitor Jamie Bourne has joined the commercial team at law firm Furley Page.

Student accommodation provider Student Cribs has recruited Matilda Macpherson as portfolio manager from VanHan and promoted James Wragg to head of digital.

Canadian property investment firm Timbercreek has appointed Stephen Kenny as a senior originator in its global debt team to support its Irish commercial property business. He joins from Ulster Bank.

Kim Wilson has joined Brasier Freeth’s retail agency team from CBRE. Based in the London office. Wilson will advise retail clients on agency matters including strategic acquisition and disposals.

Rockspring Property Investment Managers has appointed Suengtak Lee as head of its activities in north-east Asia based in the Seoul office.

Carter Jonas’ London residential office has appointed Simon Scott as an associate partner from Savills. James Mashiter joins as head of the London new homes division from CBRE. Lajla Turner has been appointed head of lettings from Bodens Residential.

Simon Gallanders has been appointed director and shareholder at Real Estate Investment Partnerships. He joined the group as a development surveyor in 2010.

Naismiths has recruited director Gareth Belsham and associate director Toby Mills from Capita. Based in the central London office, their remit is to form a strategy to drive growth across the surveying portfolio.

JLL associate director Steve Lane is to take responsibility for the firm’s Bath region following the retirement of John Mulholland after 31 years. Lane will continue to work from JLL’s Bristol office as part of the team acting for clients in the Bath market.

Partner Sloan Kelly and counsel Rajan Shori have joined Faegre Baker Daniels’ real estate practice in London.

BMO Real Estate Partners has appointed analyst Kenneth Yuen in its investment management team and Dan Walsgrove as a retail asset manager.

Real estate private equity firm Madison International Realty has appointed Kyle Torpey as director of investments.

Don Bailey has joined Delin Capital Asset Management as development director for the UK.

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has named Steve Watts, partner at alinea consulting as the next CTBUH chairman. Watts has been the CTBUH UK representative since 2009 and a member of the board of trustees since 2011.

Katja Holmström has joined the Finland office TH Real Estate as a senior portfolio manager.

Savills Investment Management has appointed Paul Devonshire as head of the Middle East.
