Newcastle-based Silverstone Building Consultancy has appointed Michael Coulthard (pictured left) as a senior chartered building surveyor. He previously worked at Alaska Developments and has particular expertise in project management in the office, retail, leisure and residential sectors.

Hartnell Taylor Cook has appointed partner Ian Lambert (pictured second from left) to lead its Bristol office. He joined the firm in 1991 as a graduate trainee initially working in the property management department before moving to the investment and auction department and then in 2007 he became a partner in the investment agency team.

Investment and property management firm LCP has promoted Julian Diamond (pictured right) to retail director. He joined the business in 2004 as an asset manager. In his new role he will focus on ensuring sustainability and income generation for properties in the firm’s retail property portfolio.

Kyle Joss (pictured second from right) has joined Colliers International’s City fringe team as an associate director. He was previously an associate in Cushman & Wakefield’s City capital markets team, where he represented international and UK-based clients on acquisitions in central London.

Gerri Scott, strategic director of housing and modernisation at Southwark Council, will step down from her role at the end of December. She leaves after nearly 30 years in public service to pursue other goals beyond local government.

BMO Real Estate Partners has appointed Matthew Howard as director of property funds. He will take over from Julian Smith, who steps down at the end of the year after 34 years with the business. Howard will assume responsibility for the Royal Sun Alliance Shareholders Fund while also supporting Richard Kirby on BMO REP’s flagship vehicle, F&C Commercial Property Trust.

GVA has appointed Lee Cleeton as head of building operational energy efficiency. Cleeton will support landlord and occupier clients in the reduction of energy across the firm’s assets and portfolios as well as supporting the wider sustainability team.

Iceni Projects has promoted planners Ian Mayhead and Jayme McArthur to directors. Mayhead is part of the strategic planning team and was involved in securing planning consent for 1,965 new homes on the former GSK and Sunblest bakery sites in Greenford, west London. McArthur is part of the urban mixed-use team, working on the redevelopment of the former Ford Stamping Plant at Dagenham Dock, a 45-acre strategic housing site in east London.

Coventry-based agent Bromwich Hardy has appointed Andrew Cosnett as a partner in its Midlands industrial and logistics agency team. He has previously worked for BNP Paribas Real Estate, King Sturge and JLL.

The Manchester office of JLL has made the following promotions. National director: Andrew Lynn, industrial and logistics. Local director: Robert Critchley, building and construction; James Devany, office agency; Paul Murray, property and asset management; Richard Broddle, valuation; and Robert Hogarth and Lynsey Smith, residential. Associate director: Ollie Broadbent and Gareth Davies, building and construction; Andrew Rands, office agency; Bernadette Broderick, planning; Mabel Pearey, residential valuation; and Chris Stott, valuation. Senior surveyor: Robert Kos, industrial and logistics; and George Oakey, residential. Additional appointments to the North West team include: Jenny Hanna as associate director in residential valuation and Matt Francis joins property and asset management as a surveying executive.

Savills Investment Management has appointed Benedict Lai as Asia research manager. He joins with more than 10 years of experience in property research and analysis, he has held positions at PGIM Real Estate Capital Malls Asia and JLL. In his new role Lai will be responsible for developing house views on APAC real estate markets and providing leadership for fund ideas and investment for Savills IM.

Harris Lamb has appointed Ruth Stanton as facilities manager to support a nationwide portfolio. Stanton joins from CBRE, where she spent seven years as a regional facilities manager.

Hamptons has appointed James Green as an associate director in sales and lettings at its St John’s Wood office. He rejoins the firm from Alexander Green Associates, which he founded.

Robert Dixon has been promoted to head of business rates at Stiles Harold Williams. Dixon joined the firm in 2007 as a graduate trainee specialising in professional and business rates.

Telford Homes chief executive Jon Di-Stefano has joined Urban&Civic’s audit committee. He has been with Telford Homes since 2002.

P3 has appointed Blake Horsley as group development director. Horsley, who joined P3 at the start of 2016 as country head for Romania, will oversee the company’s portfolio. He was previously the manager of Colliers International’s metropolitan sales and leasing teams in Wellington – the company’s youngest ever manager at 23.

CBRE has appointed Sarah Stevens as a senior director in the UK planning team based in London. She joins from Turley and specialises in town and city centre regeneration projects and large residential-led schemes. Stevens has worked with clients including Landsec, the Crown Estate, British Land, Hammerson, TH Real Estate and Wates.

Ground Rent Consultants has moved to new offices at Worlds End Studios, 132-134 Lots Road, London SW10 0RJ.
