Stewart Martin (pictured right) has joined Matthews & Goodman as a partner in its valuation team.  He has 30 years’ experience providing valuation advice to UK lending institutions.

Sarah McDonnell (pictured second from right) has joined Unispace in Dublin as principal, client relations and studio leader. She has 22 years industry experience working with clients that include Willis, JP Morgan and Google.

Colliers International has appointed Philip Macauley (pictured second from left) as director for its leisure valuations team in London. He joins from Deloitte, where he was a director and responsible for internal and external business development, valuation work and client management.

SHW Agency in Brighton has appointed James Bryant (pictured left) as agency surveyor from Brighton council. He has worked on acquisitions and disposals on behalf of national and multiple retailers, institutional landlords and property companies.

Lee Baron has hired Steven Kidd as director in its property management department from Cushman & Wakefield. In his new role, Kidd will focus on new business development for the commercial property team and will head the firm’s M&M account.

Barton Willmore has appointed Ben Lewis as infrastructure and energy director. He joins from GVA and has expertise in advising on and securing consent for nationally significant infrastructure projects, renewable energy schemes and radioactive waste management.

Facilities management company FM has appointed Campbell Murdoch as chief operating officer for its City FM business. Murdoch joined the firm in 2016.

TFT has appointed graduate building surveyors David Bevan in the Cardiff office, William Bliss in the Edinburgh office and Kit Lu in the firm’s Manchester office.

CBRE global investors has appointed Alimou Bah as a senior associate in its London research and strategy team responsible for pan-European property forecasting. Bah joins from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was an associate director and is experienced in economic analysis and property forecasting.

Engineering, environment and design consultancy Sweco UK has opened a new office in Ireland at Phoenix House, Monahan Road, Cork T12 H1XY.

NWH Group has appointed John McCormick as its chairman. He has been associated with the Scottish-based firm since 2012 in a non-executive capacity.

HOK has appointed Andrew McMullan as vice-president in its London practice. McMullan joins from Heatherwick Studio and has led schemes that include a New York urban development and a luxury residential tower in Singapore.

Paul Mills has joined OBI Property’s transactions and asset management team. He previously worked for WT Gunson in Manchester.

Naismiths has promoted Steve McCann and Chris Tsialos to associate directors, and Patrick Clough to senior consultant in the national project management team in London. In the Birmingham office, Nick Lamb has been made director in the national project management team.

Thor Equities has appointed Catalina Chew as a controller. She will be responsible for overseeing fund, property and management-level accounting and reporting.

Savills has appointed associate Richard Garner to its London ratings team from the Valuation Office Agency.  Experienced in alternative valuation methods, Garner will work on specialist valuations, focusing on the leisure sector. Associate Kathleen Marsland has also joined the Savills rating team from VOA, where she worked in non-domestic rating and DVS property specialists.

The Birmingham office of Cushman & Wakefield has made the following appointments to its project management and consultancy team: Phil Tranter, partner; Nigel Britten, consultant; David Elson, senior mechanical engineer; Paul Brookes, electrical engineer; Roy Charinda, architectural technologist; and Manoj Verma and Joseph Jennings join as graduate surveyors.

The Leeds office of CBRE has appointed Sophie Angus to its industrial and logistics agency team. She joined the firm in 2015 through the firm’s graduate training scheme.

Impact Health Partners, investment adviser to Impact Healthcare REIT, has recruited David Yaldron as its finance director.

Vine Property Management has promoted Andrew Smith to partner and Gladys Beaumont and Alex Sharpe to associate partners.

Malcolm Hollis has recruited Stefan Stenzel as partner of its Munich office. He joins from Pfandbriefbank.

Khalil Al Zadjali will head Cavendish Maxwell’s new office in Muscat, Oman. He joined the firm in April and has more than 14 years’ experience of valuations in the Sultanate of Oman.

Trident Building Consultancy has promoted David Juniper and Chris Paveling to directors in the London City and Edinburgh offices respectively.  Alan Campbell has been made associate director in the Edinburgh office.

JLL has appointed Lilianna Kurzydłowska as HR director for Poland and CEE countries.

Hodder+Partners has appointed architect Emma Watson to support the firm’s design and commercial capabilities. She joins from Hugh Broughton Architects, where she worked on the visitor centre and archive for The Henry Moore Foundation in East Hertfordshire.

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Rob Seabrook as partner to lead its transactional activity for its EMEA hotels and hospitality team. He has specialised in hotel investment for the past 17 years on transactions which include the Jupiter Hotels portfolio and the Regency Hotel. Seabrook will join the firm in 2018.

Malcolm Hollis has moved to a new Cambridge office at St Andrew’s House, 59 St Andrew’s Street, Cambridge CB2 3BZ.
