Laura Wiles (pictured right) has joined SDL Auctions Graham Penny as a residential valuer for the East Midlands. She joins from Hammond Property Services in Nottingham where she was a valuer.

Stratton Creber Commercial has appointed Gavin Sagar as an agency surveyor. He joins the Plymouth office and will specialise in in the disposal and acquisition of retail, office, industrial and investment properties.

Anna Fairclough has joined JLL as a director in the UK corporate solutions team. She will work out of both the London and Manchester offices with a remit to grow the corporate solutions business in the North West of England.

Matthews & Goodman has appointed David Laws and Tim Austin as equity partners.  Laws, who is based in the Manchester office, played a major role in building the firm’s national business space capability in the North West. Austin, who works out of both the Liverpool and Manchester offices, has won a number of strategic accounts for the property management team.

The Exeter office of JLL has promoted Mark Walter to local director in the residential team. Adelle Moore and Kye Daniel have qualified as chartered surveyors.

Faithful+Gould has appointed regional director Mark Postill (picutred left) as head of its Southampton office. He will take over the role from Alan Walker on 1 October.

DWF has appointed partner Mark Shepherd to its real estate team in London. He joins the business from Paul Hastings where he specialised in a range of transactional real estate work.

The Bristol office of JLL has made the following promotions. National director: Adam Greenwood, residential valuation team. Local director: Nicola Perry, property and asset management team. Associate director: Daniel Withecombe and Matthew Armstrong, student and healthcare team; Tully Madge, retail management; and Lisa Fone, building consultancy. Senior surveyor: Adam Reed, building consultancy. Surveyor: Lisa Potts, property and asset management.

Malcolm Hollis has appointed partner Ashley Winter to head of dilapidations. Chris McCartney has been named head of project management. Partner Ben Mack has been made head of construction design and management, and partners Simon Goodrick, James Kay and David McBride have been made heads of offices in Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester respectively.

Brendan O’Haire has joined Bruton Knowles as a surveyor in the Bristol-based valuations team.

Tim Ainsley has joined JLL as a director in the valuation advisory team from Quintain.

Jens Wehmhöner (pictured second from right) has joined BNP Paribas Real Estate as pan European senior retail director. He will report to Fiona Hamilton, global head of retail for international brands.

BB&J Commercial has appointed Chris Keogh as a senior agency surveyor.  He was previously associate director at Salloway.

Anton Page has promoted James Taylorson from agency surveyor to associate partner.

Invesco Real Estate, the global real estate investment manager, has appointed Miles Skinner to its European transactions team. He will focus on UK transactions and will work alongside Rob Johnston who heads up the UK and Nordics transactions team. Miles joins IRE from CBRE.

Jaynic investments has appointed Jason Newman as construction director to handle its property development portfolio. He previously worked for Regal Homes, Bowmer and Kirkland and Kier.

Ben Beadle has joined Touchstone as business director for the South with responsibility for the firm’s London and Milton Keynes operations.

Hines has recruited directors Tom Rix and Suraiya Comunello to its UK team. They will support its new operating platform Aparto in the student housing sector. Rix will be responsible for building Aparto’s operational platform and Comunello will work on developing marketing strategy for Aparto residences across the UK and Ireland.

Richard Newman, Simina Ionescu and Shaun Jenkins have joined the Manchester office of Hodder+Partners as architectural assistants.

Octopus Healthcare has appointed Edward Clough (pictured second from left) as business development director. He joins from law firm Allen and Overy and will focus on identifying primary care development opportunities.

Naismiths has appointed Rebecca Cumming as senior consultant in the South West team. She was previously a senior project manager at Frequency Projects in New Zealand.

James Willcock has joined the residential land team at Harris Lamb as a surveyor in the affordable and residential housing division. He joins from Fine & Country-Land and New Homes.

JLL has promoted Tomasz Czuba from head of office agency to regional director in Poland.

HPW Architecture has created a new corporate structure, appointing Alan Powell as chairman, Gary Wilburn as managing director, Alex Urquhart as design director, Ben Jepson as architectural director, John Lee as marketing director and Paul Stansfield as technical director.

The East and North London office of Strettons has promoted Ray Taylor to director of operations, Sharon Brandelli to associate in the residential management team and Richard Allen to associate in the property management team. Andrew Sage has joined the valuation and advisory team in the West End office and Francesca Raisbeck has joined the firm as an insurance sales manager.

Pozzoni Architecture has promoted Andrew Smith to director and Matt Mason to senior associate.

The Leeds office of JLL has appointed senior surveyor Jordan Kenefick and surveyor Brett Harrison to its valuation team.
