Unispace has appointed Sam Sahni (pictured left) as principal for strategy. Based in its London studio, he will oversee the European development of its strategy offering.

Andrea George (pictured second from left) has joined Bruntwood as head of retail and leisure leasing. She will be responsible for developing its retail and leisure portfolio in Manchester, Cheshire, Leeds, Liverpool and Birmingham.

Richard Crow (pictured second from right) has joined the Birmingham team of Trident Building Consultancy as an associate director. He joins from Savills and specialises in contract administration, dilapidations, boundary disputes, technical due diligence and party wall agreements.

Mai Kawashima (pictured right) has joined Savills as an associate director in its hotels team. She will work in a cross-border role focusing on European hotel transactions with a specific focus on Asian investment into the market.

CBRE has hired James Beckham as executive director and head of London investment properties from Cushman & Wakefield. Beckham’s career spans more than 30 years in which he has worked on high-profile deals for clients including REITs and sovereign wealth funds.

Dacre Son & Hartley has appointed Nadia Sumner and Kate Dickens in its letting division in its Ripon and Thirsk offices respectively.

Emma Fradgley has joined BAM Construction as a pre-construction director in Glasgow.

Law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed Anthony Newton as a partner in its development and investment team. He joins from Hogan Lovells.

Former Cater Jonas partner Ian Gillespie has launched Igloo Planning, which will provide development and strategy advice to developers, promoters and private landowners across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

The board of tp bennett has promoted directors David Blair, Nick Hirst and Leigh Dimelow to principal directors and Liz Catchpole joins as a non-executive director.

Fidelity International’s eurozone real estate team has appointed Mirjam Raschka as asset manager for Germany and the Netherlands. Maarten Frouws joins as investment manager for the Netherlands and Christopher Lyon Lynch has been appointed asset manager for France and Belgium.

Pick Everard has appointed Mark Dando as principal quantity surveyor and James Partington as principal mechanical engineer.

Online property auction firm John Pye Property has opened an office in Salford Quays, Manchester with a remit to grow the business across the North West.

Property investment fund manager Tritax has appointed Charlie Withers as development director and Nick Preston as director of fund development.

The Stratford office of Glenny has promoted Ben Owen and William Mitchell to associates in the valuation and lease advisory team, and Chris Welch and Graham Stilwell to associates in the asset and property management team.

Dennis Ko has joined law firm Boodle Hatfield as a partner in its property team. Ko is experienced in property transactions and sectors including office, retail, industrial and residential development.

Alex Mezzone has joined Birmingham-based Pennycuick Collins as a client accounting manager.

Matthews & Goodman has appointed Sean Ludden as partner and head of the business valuation team. He joins from Colliers International where he was a director and specialised in valuing trading businesses and real estate assets for clients.

Consultancy Ingleton Wood has appointed Trevor Halls as director of architecture. In the newly created role, he will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s presence in the education and health sectors, and expanding into private and commercial property.

CBRE has appointed Amanda Clack as head of strategic consulting and a member of the UK board.
