This week’s appointments and promotions

GVA has named Gordon Isgrove as regional senior director in its Bristol office. He has 20 years’ experience and currently leads the land and development team. Isgrove has been involved in some of the regions largest development transactions, including the sale of the former Frenchay Hospital site, Bristol.

Philip Scott has been appointed director of planning at Obsidian Strategic. He has more than 26 years’ planning experience, working for AECOM, CBRE and Atisreal, and is currently advising the firm on several major development sites in central London and the Home Counties.

Rapleys has appointed Balvinder Sagoo as a partner to establish and lead its building consultancy team in the Birmingham office. He joins from GVA and has a wealth of experience in the office and retail sectors.

European real estate investment platform Henderson Park has appointed Subbash Thammanna as finance director. He has more than 15 years’ experience in real estate finance roles and joins from Harbert Management Corporation.

Michael Goodare has joined the Leeds office of Knight Frank as a senior surveyor in its residential and commercial valuation team. He joins from GVA.

Faithful+Gould has recruited Dean Williams as associate director in its Nottingham office. He joins from Gaskell after 14 years, and will work to enhance the firm’s quantity surveying team in the residential and education sectors.

Law firm DAC Beachcroft has made the following promotions. Partner: Clare Hartley, real estate; Sandeep Mahal, property claims solutions; and Stephen McLellan, construction and insurance. Legal directors: Vicky Banks, Matt Cox, John Noonan and Rachael Reynolds, real estate.

Farebrother has appointed David McCausland as head of rating. He was previously a partner at Stanley Hicks.

Chancerygate has appointed Victoria Mann from M7 Real Estate as asset manager.

Property consultancy Naismiths’ London team has appointed former international skier Alistair Till as a project manager.

Russell Hefferan has joined Cushman & Wakefield’s national student and residential investment team in Manchester. He joins as an associate from the London office and has more than 15 years’ experience.

London property consultancy Levy Real Estate has promoted Gary Barlow to partner in the building consultancy and project management team. Philip Evans has been made director of the specialist asset management arm and Peter Percival has been named partner and head of finance.

Legal & General has hired Essential Living’s Damon Brown as a construction portfolio manager and David Jones joins from Berkeley Homes as a modular integration director.

Lovell has appointed board member John Leary to the newly-created role of major projects director. Formerly national operations director he will lead the company’s delivery of large-scale housing projects in partnership with the Ministry of Defence.

London Clancy has appointed Keith Enters as a senior surveyor in Basingstoke. He will continue to deal with agency and professional advisory work across Hampshire and Berkshire. Suzanne Curtis has joined as an accounts clerk and Tom Clancy as a trainee surveyor.

Archie Sherbrooke has joined Moore Blatch as a partner specialising in commercial property. He was previously at Charles Russell Speechlys.

RO Real Estate has appointment David Kershaw as general manager based in the London office .He joins from Balfour Beatty Group and has more than 30 years management experience in property and construction.

Commercial property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has named Christian Humphreys, Matthew Lawrence and Mark Sheridan as shareholders.

Bidwells’ business space agency has recruited Rory Banks as a graduate surveyor.

Chelsea estate agent Russell Simpson has appointed Charlie Woods as senior lettings director. He was formerly with W.A. Ellis for 14 years.

David Stephens has joined JLL as an associate director in the higher education team.  The higher education team is part of the firm’s wider alternatives team, which provides strategic property advice to UK and international universities.

Watts Group has promoted Jamie Dutton and Paul Spence to associates in the Manchester office and Michael Wright to associate in the Edinburgh office.

Manchester-based Gray Scanlan Hill has appointed Darren Hughes as a director. He joins from Lambert Smith Hampton.

Ben Roberts has joined investment and asset management business Riddelltps in its Manchester city centre office. He previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield.

Knight Frank has appointed Rupert Bridgman as an associate from Capita. Bridgman will work with Ashley Drewett as a part of the national offices team, offering lease advisory services to both landlord and tenant clients.

Martin Hannah has joined the Glasgow office of Cushman & Wakefield as a senior consultant in the planning and development team. He returns from a 30-month posting in St Helena, where he was head of planning and development control for St Helena Government.

Innes England’s Leicester-based team has relocated to new offices at Peat House, 1 Waterloo Way, Leicester LE1 6LP.

Paul Rabbette has opened a new office at Park House, Park St, Bristol. It will be led by Kit Rabbette who specialises in rating and financial asset valuations. Freddy Stephens joins as a graduate surveyor the head office in Pershore, Worcestershire.
