This week’s appointments and promotions

Corstorphine + Wright has appointed Simon Crosby as senior director to lead on major public sector projects. He joins from international consultancy NORR, where he worked as senior director and government sector head.

Richborough Estates has recruited Charlotte Lewis as consultant design director. She has joined the team on secondment from multi-service consultancy Baily Garner. Lewis will assist Richborough Estates with its strategic projects to champion good design and placemaking.

Hanover Green has promoted Richard Zoers to equity principal. He specialises in office agency, investment and development in the Greater London and the South East markets.

Savills have appointed operations manager Lina Higuita to lead its management team and to support the expansion of Barons Quay in Northwich.

Tuffin Ferraby Taylor’s Birmingham office has promoted Chris Gibbons to equity partner, Rohit Chauhan and Carl Haynes to senior associates, and Dominic Boot and Jon Denham to associates. In London, Daniel Cooper has been promoted to equity partner and Liam Drawwater to technical partner. Helen Newman has been named as technical partner in the Guildford office.

London law firm Wedlake Bell has promoted Marc Leyshon to partner in the commercial property team. He joined the firm in 2011.

Ronald van der Waals has joined CBRE Global Investors as fund manager of the Dutch Office Fund.

Peter Hudson has joined Sancus Finance in the new role of director for property finance UK. He joins from Wellesley Finance

Local Enterprise Partnership Enterprise M3 has named Michael Knott as chair of its land and property action group. Knott is a planning director in the Reading office Barton Willmore.

AXA IM – Real Assets has appointed Nathalie Savier Lacour as senior development manager in France.

Addleshaw Goddard’s London-based real estate team has appointed William Boss, Simon Tager, Michael Scott and Luke Harvey as partners. Hemal Kotecha and Peter Mason have been promoted to partners from 1 May.

Julian Cross has joined Wood Bagot as design lead Europe, based in London. He has more than 20 years’ architecture and design experience and was previously principle at KPF Associates.

Auction services provider IAM Sold has appointed Malcolm McClen as sales and operations director.

Lisa Henderson has been appointed as head of marketing at Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre.

Rupert Bendell has joined Colston & Colston chartered surveyors in Bath. He will work in the firm’s commercial agency and development land sector and will be involved in building its rural and planning departments.

Retail consultancy Green & Partners has made the following partner promotions. Matt Beardall in the agency team, Ed Smith in the investment team, and Darren Coleman in the lease advisory team. Mike Willoughby has been made equity partner in the agency department.

Serviced office space provider UBCUK has appointed Richard Johnson as managing director.

Dalcour Maclaren has appointed James Futter as financial controller in its Bicester office. In the Cirencester office Zoe Shepperd joins as commercial surveyor, and Simon Hinchliffe has joined the Crewe office as a senior surveyor.

Maples Teesdale has elected Chris Wilkinson as managing partner.

Fisher German has promoted Yan Gittins, Michael Harris, Matthew Trewartha and Guy Hemus to partner; James Ingram, Darren Hunt, James Watson and Sam Parton to associate partner; and Samantha Jones-Davies, Alex Broad, Laura Knight, Rachel Ashworth, Emanuel Skelton, Ian McKenzie, Neil Bidwell, Stephen Maxwell and James Wadland to associate.

Geoff Mules has retired after 30 years’ service with housing and management consultants Churchill Hui. Neil Manley has been made managing director. Claire Crook, Andrew Belsey, Ian Manley and Kevin Crook have become directors.

Luke Mackenzie has joined Avison Young in London as a principle. He will focus on investment real estate sales and acquisitions.

Cambridge commercial property surveyor Ben Oughton has been appointed by Jaynic Investments as project director to Haverhill Research Park

Leeds-based property and leisure specialists Parklane Group has appointed Anthony Mackle as group sales manager. He previously worked for Urban Splash.

Jon Alexander has been named as Buccleuch’s new finance director. He joined the firm in 2004 and was previously group tax and treasury manager.

Trident Building Consultancy has appointed Louise Glendinning as a building surveyor in the Edinburgh office, Laura Blackburn as associate director in the London City office, and Phillipa Burgin as assistant building surveyor in the west London office.

Colliers International in Belgium has hired John van Paassen as head of capital markets. He joins from Knight Frank.

McKay Securities has promoted Tom Elliott to executive director.   He joined the firm in 2016 as property director.
