Penn Commercial remains at the top of EG’s leaderboard of the most active agents in Suffolk, helped by its most recent deal – a 2,247 sq ft office letting in Ipswich.
The deal saw the premises at 16 Arcade Street taken on a five-year lease commencing on 20 August 2021 at a rent of £5.34 per sq ft, equating to £12,000 pa. The parties were not disclosed.
Penn Commercial has acted on 326,058 sq ft of transactions in the year to date, followed by Avison Young on 182,008 sq ft. Completing the top five Suffolk agents are Knight Frank, which has transacted 143,450 sq ft of deals, Fenn Wright, on 130,678 sq ft, and Carter Jonas, on 117,654 sq ft.
