Peel Land & Property has lodged a planning application for a £650m mixed-use development at the 26-acre Chatham Docks in Kent.
An outline planning application has been submitted to Medway council for the 1.9m sq ft Chatham Waters scheme.
Plans include a commercial heart, with office space and an EventCity conference facility as well as a hotel, shops and homes.
At the public consultation in September, 90% of those questioned said they supported the scheme.
Peel development director James Whittaker said: “The feedback we received at the public consultation was invaluable and we are very pleased that so many people were supportive of our plans for Chatham Waters.”
Indigo Planning, Planit IE, Traffic Transport & Highway Consultancy and 5 Plus Architects are advising Peel on the scheme.
