Pearson signs four subtenants at 80 Strand

Educational services company Pearson has secured four subtenants at 80 Strand, WC2, with the deals totalling around 112,000 sq ft of workspace.

Athletic apparel brand Lululemon, flexible workspace provider Orega, leadership advisory firm Spencer Stuart, and luxury travel company A&K Travel Group will occupy the building, over the coming months.

Combined, they will occupy workspace across four floors of the 550,000 sq ft office building, also known as the Shell Mex House.

The deals leave Pearson with around 40,000 sq ft to sublease at the building. The company itself occupies one floor.

Pearson global head of real estate Mundy Miller said: “We welcome the new tenants to the 80 Strand family, and hope the office space will help to foster a positive and collaborative business environment for their employees.

“80 Strand has a prime location at the heart of Covent Garden in central London, offering easy access to amenities and making it an ideal location to conduct business.”

CBRE and Gryphon Property Partners advised Pearson on the subtenancy agreements.
