Oxenwood Real Estate has completed two logistics real estate transactions in Kent in a joint venture with a Canadian institutional investor.
The JV sold a unit in Kingsnorth for £29.6m and reinvested the proceeds in a facility at Aylesford for £27.5m.
The Aylesford acquisition is a 246,250 sq ft facility by junction 4 of the M20 at the New Hythe Business Park, which is let to third-party logistics provider XPO Supply Chain. Occupiers include Amazon, Menzies Distribution and BT.
It was bought from Deutsche Asset Management.
The 267,730 sq ft unit at Kingsnorth is on the London Medway Commercial Park and is let to Wincanton for a further four years.
The unit was bought in April this year as part of the Ultrabox logistics portfolio and has been sold to Torbay council.
