Joseph Homes and Belleveue Mortlakes are looking to sell a site with consent for a 688-bed student accommodation development in Southwark, SE15, for offers over £17.5m.
The PBSA-led mixed-use scheme on Sylvan Grove, off Old Kent Road, has consent for 34-storey tower with a mix of studio flats and cluster apartments of three to eight bedrooms, plus amenities such as a top-floor lounge and terrace, study space, communal kitchen and dining, and a gym.
The adjoining seven-storey building comprises 23 family housing units of three and four bedrooms, all of which will be delivered as affordable housing at social rent. The scheme also includes 21,000 sq ft of employment space.
The development, which has a GDV of £200m, is located to the north of a 7.7-acre masterplanned site and is one of a number of buildings being developed in the Old Kent Road Opportunity Area.
Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed to market the site.
