East Midlands Development Agency, UK Coal, Nottingham council and English Partnerships are looking to sell a 153-acre (62ha) former colliery in Gelding, Nottinghamshire.
The site has been earmarked for up to 1,118 homes and 6.7 acres (2.7ha) of office space
