Nottingham retail park sold for £14.2m


Ignis Asset Management has sold Madford Retail Park in Nottingham to clients of CB Richard Ellis Investors for £14.2m, reflecting a 6.68% yield.


The multi-let park sits on six acres located two miles from Nottingham city centre and contains three standalone units totalling 66,683 sq ft.


The units are occupied by retailers Homebase, Comet and Currys.


Paul Griffiths, senior director of national investment at BNP Paribas Real Estate, which acted for Ignis, said: “We received a good level of interest in Madford Retail Park due to the strong covenants of the occupiers, the accessible location and the attractive income yield.”
