Royal Mail research shows Northern Ireland cities and those in the north of England are the most popular markets for company relocations.
Its Business Barometer shows Belfast, where 487 companies started operations in the past year, up 4.7% on the previous year, is the fastest growing city for new and relocated businesses. Hull came next, up 3.3% to 183, followed by Blackburn up 3% to 121.
Royal Mail found about 7% of companies move location each year.
