The first residential phase of the NOMA development has been granted planning approval by Manchester city council.
Moda Living – a joint venture between Caddick Developments and Generate Land – is behind the 458-flat Angel Gardens scheme.
Rising to 34 storeys, the project is one of a trio put up for forward funding by Caddick Developments through CBRE, with the NOMA element expected to attract £85m of funding.
Co-Operative Group director David Pringle said: “Angel Gardens is a great addition to the NOMA masterplan, it is an outstanding design and the development will provide the first residential offer of the NOMA neighbourhood.”
