North Yorkshire Council’s planning committee has given the go-ahead to Banks Property’s residential development on 31 acres of land at Castle Hill West, Harrogate.
Planners approved the construction of 224 homes, a primary school and strategic green infrastructure. The scheme comprises a mix of one to five-bedroom houses. It is proposed that 40% of homes will be affordable.
The development will promote sustainability by encouraging walking, cycling and public transport.
Pegasus designed the scheme and advised on planning matters.
