Pi Labs has inducted four new tech start-ups into its accelerator, bringing the total number of cohorts to go into the accelerator to five.
Among the new entrants are two businesses aimed directly at the hotel sector, a first for Pi Labs.
Unified Technologies is an on-demand mobile guest experience management platform for hotel operators. It provides guests with personalised on-demand service that can be accessed anytime, anyplace across a hotel.
Unified provides real-time visibility of employees and connects guest requests to staff across the entire property. A robust analytics suite visualises service performance metrics and guest-centric insights at a granular level, providing hotel management with a unified view of guest and staff interactions across the hotel.
UnitPal aims to simplify the complexity of property and revenue management. It systematises and organises all transactional and operational activity, and provides management with a detailed overview of the property at any time, from anywhere.
UnitPal also tracks and displays past, present and future data.
The two remaining start-ups in the 13-week accelerator, which provides mentoring to help them bring their businesses to life and ultimately pitch for investment, are Grab a Gardener, an online marketplace connecting customers to local gardeners, and ShareDining, which helps food businesses access flexible, affordable commercial kitchen space.
Dominic Wilson, co-founder of Pi Labs, said: “We are thrilled to welcome these latest companies into our family and are very much looking forward to working with them.”
EG and Pi Labs have launched an exciting new competition for tech firms.
