Multiplex has pulled out of a £175m joint venture to redevelop Barnsley's 8.6-acre town-centre markets site as a retail-led scheme.
The Australian developer, with joint venture partners Ashcroft Estates and Guildhouse Group, was initially named preferred developer by Barnsley council
